We spent three nights here and were made most welcome. At the end of January / start of February the weater was quite coold at night but the staff made sure there was plenty of heating in the public rooms and our bedroom. Very tidy well kept grounds overlooking a tea garden.

Lovely quiet setting, but only a short drive from town. Only a few select guests. Large rooms with great character. Comfortable communal areas. Set menu for dinner and breakfast, which was all very nice. Very friendly staff. It's a charming place that I can highly recommend.
Firstly, it's difficult for someone new to find the entryway to this cottage. A small signboard written with MC on it stands behind the bushes and is not visible properly. Rooms are antique and good but being made of thin walls sounds and snoring of adjacent rooms are audible. Services are semi professional but staffs are helpful and nice. Environment is quite and clean as it is situated away from the city.
Excellent place to stay in Dibrugarh. Peaceful. Surrounded by tea plantations. The house has a history. All the staff is taking great care of you. And last but not least, food is excellent and service awesome. So do not miss Mancotta Tea Estate !
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Mancotta Heritage Bungalow, which is a beautiful and very interesting building in a lovely, tranquil setting. My room was characterful, comfortable and well equipped. The staff were all delightful, and the food was absolutely superb!
Mancotta Heritage Bungalow really hasn't changed sincesomewhere around the 1930s. The good thing about our room at the heritage bungalow was that it had a very good heater (the weather was very cold and damp whilst we were there). Communal areas though were cold. Living in an old house myself, I do appreciate the preservation of old buildings. However, the bungalow needs some maintenance and sympathetic updating. Doors didn't fit, the furniture was shabby and the bathroom was quite problematic: the claw-footed bath wobbled, the shower wasn't quite in the right position, the water wasn't very hot and getting out of the bath involved paddling ankle deep in water that had leaked onto the floor.|Although set in pretty tea gardens, it isn't a picture of tranquility and is quite close to the busy main road.|The food was obviously geared towards western tastes and as a result was quite bland and stodgy.
Wonderful heritage property not far from Dibrugarh airport. It is a little difficult to find, so keep in touch with the manager, Ms.Lillie by phone for directions. The second you enter the property, there is a sense of calm and tranquility. ||You feel transported to the mid-19th century Raj Period as the property is a still a working tea plantation||The superintendents bungalow has been turned into a boutique 4 room property. I was in a room on the upper level and it is beautiful -- gorgeous wooden floors, beautiful furniture and the room is surrounded by a verandah with comfortable furniture. The two rooms on this level share a salon and dining room.||Wi-fi is excellent and very stable.||You will want to be half or even full board and take all your meals here. I enjoyed eating on the veranda looking over the tea fields. There is also a formal dining room.||When I visited, the lunch was continental and dinner was Assamese cuisine. It is served in courses.||Do not be in a rush when you stay here. Tale time to enjoy the property, and to walk in the garden and thru the tea fields. It is an experience you cannot have any other place on earth.|
We had an outstanding tea estate bungalow stay experience at Mancotta. The Manager (Lily) and the Staff were were amazing. Every small detail was looked into. The table layouts for breakfast and dinner were immaculate. The set menu (we had the Assamese food) was elaborate and very thoughtfully constructed. The rooms, hall, dining area, library area etc. were full with very interesting artifacts and the decor was very tastefully done. It is obvious that huge attention is given to details.||Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to experience the life that Tea Estate Managers and Families were leading in the days gone by
