Hotel Kanishka

Have been visiting the place a long time. I like the vintage look. But nowadays it lacks proper maintenance, maybe coz room rates have not escalated much & revenue is less to engage upgradation.

My family stayed for 2 nights. Worst experience ever. Rooms were smelly/damp. Not safe for family. Lot of people drinking and making noise through out the night. Won't book again

One of the finest hotels in the city. Great rooms with great pricing. The food at the restaurant is very good too, a solid 8/10. Located in a place where transport is easily available. The service is fine as well. Overall a nice experience. If you want a decent hotel for both food and lodge, this is definitely one of the top ones in the city and you'll not be disappointed.

3rd Class Management..The Manager think he owns the Hotel and should be put into Hotek Management course immediately. Wonder why the Hotel downgraded from 3 star to only MR's food&lodging cheap hotel.

I recently attempted to stay at Hotel Kanishka, but unfortunately, I was denied accommodation. I was shocked by the unprofessional and rude behavior of the staff. In addition to the poor service, the hotel's decor appeared old and shabby, with a noticeable lack of maintenance. The atmosphere felt dark and shady, leaving me with a sense of discomfort. Overall, I cannot recommend Hotel Kanishka based on my experience. The negative aspects of my visit greatly outweighed any potential benefits of staying at the hotel. I would give this hotel a 0 out of 5 points, and suggest finding alternative accommodations in the area.

Ageless hotel. Staff have worked since the beginning like 25 years ago!! Brings back good memories. Rooms and bathrooms are big. Food is tasty because of old staff!!! Service is prompt and friendly if you engage with them. They are like one big family. Keep low expectations and you will enjoy your stay all the time. Keep it going

Good but not best

One of the best lodging places in Bongaigaon. Decent location with easy pass to all prime amenities. Hotel is neat and clean and staff are very nice. They have an in-house restaurant. Food they serve is very hot and fresh. Taste is not bad however little expensive. Best choice for a day or two day's stay. This picture was taken on the ground floor corridor.
