Astha Resort

The resort has a peaceful and positive atmosphere, great for visits with friends and family, but not very couple-friendly. The surroundings are relaxing, making it a good getaway spot. However, the restaurant prices are quite high--charging 30 for a 1L water bottle is excessive. The biggest letdown was the rude behavior of the receptionist, which affected the overall experience. Aside from that, the place is pleasant.

The food is good . Atmosphere is nice. But the staff is so rude. The man in the ticket counter is an asshole. Such a big resort but no car parking.

Is there any entry fee for DSLR or professional photography??? The manager asked for Rs 1000 for camera entry and Rs 30 extra per person. Have anyone faced this??? Photography/Camera entry fee is not mentioned in the signboard at the ticket counter. So I just wanted to confirm.

The gate man and the waiters behaviour was very rude. Even they can't talk properly. No space to sit and a very dirty place. I will recommend everyone not to visit there if you want peace.

This place is so expensive so we don't like anywhere and also employer behaviour is not good

Dont ever go third class place .. We saw dead fishes and smells like shits everywhere...polluted water and plastics everywhere

Very nice resort to spend some time with friends or the significant other. The place is good also for some discussion. The entry fees are also very affordable 30rs each per person. There is a place to sit, a cafeteria to eat, see-saw, and around to play for kids. Don't miss the aquarium, the fish collections are mesmerising. The place is situated in an isolated area, so it's very free of noise. You can see the Abhayapuri jail also when you visit there. Overall, a great place to visit in Bongaigaon district.
