The Sumola House

If you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sound of chirping birds in the morning, this is the perfect place. The location is a bit tucked away, but that's exactly what adds to its charm. The caretaker is truly a gem, warm, helpful, and welcoming. 5 starts for the property without a doubt.

Our family spent a night here in December. It is a beautiful property and the staff is excellent, specially Bijit. The roads from Sivasagar is bad but from here to Kaziranga the roads are good. It's an interior location so please make sure you carry things you like as shops are far.

Terrible experience. The quality and quantity of the food was worst. We waited over an hour for our meals, and when they finally arrived, they were completely wrong. Never coming back!

Amazing place to stay in Jorhat. Close to the city as well as the riverside. Ample parking space with well-kept rooms and bathrooms. Definitely coming back again. One of the rooms has a beautiful bathtub. Kindly request for that room. It is also bigger than the rest of the rooms.

Had a great time partying with a group of friends. Excellent lighting in the outdoors in the evening. Wonderful breeze blowing from the riverside, with DJ Aman playing good numbers. Ample space for parking, catering and they provide rooms for lodging also. The only issue is the power back-up. All in all a great escape from daily routine.

Perfect place to hangout with friends and family. The surrounding is covered with lush green gardens. The property is well maintained and the rooms are very clean and cosy. Will definitely visit next time.

Great host, great food, great service, very well-maintained, squeaky clean, calm and peaceful away from the city. A great experience overall. Will definitely go again.
