Hills N Lakes Resort

We had been to Kaziranga recently by 18 th Feb25 & our experience in Hills N Lakes was very nice. It's location is perfect to start for Elephant Safari & Jeep Safari in Kaziranga National park,Aasam. Nature's view is amazing frithis spot. We had opted special rooms which are good. Food is tasty. They had arranged bon fire dinner also. Staff is coperative. The most important is owner of this Hotel is very decent, polite gentleman. We enjoyed our 2 days stay at Kaziranga.

Its located far away from the chaos of hotel, homestay and shop cluster of kohra but you will find birds chirping throughout. With binoculars you can find some Rhino from the hotel itself. Rooms are neither a 5 star one nor mordern like some others but you will find everything necessary like hot water, power back up and all. In addition you will find carrom to play. You will find books to read(which is rare these day), toys, board games and ball for childrens to play. Swing to enjoy, watchtower to view but what really makes this stay special is the owner/manager. You simply can't book another once you talk to him and if you meet him you would never book any other stay in the area. He is such a sweet and caring person. Throughout our short stay I haven't seen him seating if we are outside of our room. Always ready to address any need we have. Answer the doubt, suggests the places. Went to sleep last and woke up before anyone. Will definitely come back here and recommend to all.

This place inside kaziranga and very close to safari point. Staff is very helpful and humble.

Rooms were clean. The bathroom was clean and spacious with running hot water which was a relief since it was cold. The owner is a really helpful person and he helped us a lot during our stay. Everyone in the hotel was polite. The view overlooking the road from our room's balcony was great. You can arrange for campfire by paying an extra amount. The food was fresh and homely. According to the amount charged I think it is a good place to stay with the availability of all the basic amenities.
