Tung Tao Resort is located in a very beautiful place Namsai. The white clean and silent river is bliss. I loved the ambiance, especially the seats placed just in the river. Any person who loves water can have a great time here at Tung Tao Resort. Shortcomings: 1. Non-alcoholic drinks are very minimal, people who don't drink can find it hard to adjust to just Coca-Cola and Sprite. 2. Not a family-based place to visit, people roaming shirtless holding their drinks, and ladies in their sexiest outfits make it a little eerie and parents may not like it to bring their teenagers here. I wish the drinking section was made separately 3. Food is good here but the quantity of rice is very minimal. When you want extra rice (Thupla bhaat) is priced at 80rs which is too much. Maybe that could be taken into consideration. These are my personal views and I have placed them with a sincere intention for the interest of all people.

Tungtao Resort offers a beautiful blend of nature and human-made structures, creating a relaxing and picturesque getaway. The resort is well-maintained, with lush greenery, serene water bodies, and thoughtfully designed spaces that allow visitors to connect with nature while still enjoying modern comforts. The ambiance is truly refreshing, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and leisure. However, when it comes to food, the experience falls a bit short. While the quality is decent, it doesn't quite match expectations, especially considering the pricing. Another downside is the additional charges imposed for having meals in natural surroundings. Since the resort already charges an entry fee, adding extra costs for dining in scenic spots seems unnecessary and could be improved. Overall, Tumgtao Resort is a great place for nature lovers who appreciate a peaceful environment with a touch of human creativity. But for those who prioritize exceptional food experiences, it might not be as satisfying. With some improvements in their food policies and quality, this resort could offer an even more well-rounded experience. For now, I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars....
Absolutely Horrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs! Please don't ruin your arunachal experience at this resort I had the worst experience at Tungtao Resort in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, and I strongly urge everyone -- tourists, families, and especially women -- to stay away from this place if you want your trip to Arunachal to be a pleasant one. Firstly, the staff is extremely rude, with a particularly disrespectful attitude towards women, which is absolutely unacceptable. We were charged 8,500 for two rooms -- a price that might make sense at a luxury resort, but what we got was the complete opposite. The rooms were flooded, poorly maintained, and not worth even a fraction of what they charged. To make matters worse, there were no umbrellas or any form of support provided during heavy rains -- a basic necessity in this region's weather. The food served was stale and unappetizing, clearly not fresh or hygienically prepared. For a place that claims to be a resort, their service and behavior were shockingly bad. This is not just about money -- it's about dignity, safety, and basic hospitality, all of which this place fails at miserably. Please don't ruin your Arunachal trip by staying here. There are many better, safer, and more welcoming options in the area.
For me, Tungtao experience tops the list of my visit to Arunachal. The entry fee is 50 rupees. The gatekeeper could be more efficient because I had to wait a long time as he write the receipt for each one of us. He could have done everything on one receipts. The resort have amazing views and a good number of cabins. It has a tree balcony, many huts on the river. It has places where one can sit on the river and have your snacks. There is a campsite, a swimming pool, a restaurant. There are beautiful places where you can take photos. The toilets can do better as it wasn't fixed with a toilet seat though its a western toilet system. There should be tissue rolls in the washroom for the customers. The service was so so. I won't say its too bad but it was not too great as well. A good place to relax and I would definitely come here again.
We tried to book rooms through their website, however it turned out to be fraud, and we ended up losing 15k. On their Instagram page, the resort has mentioned 'do not book from Google,' nevertheless it is ambiguous and doesn't indicate that their website has been compromised. We hope no one else goes through this terrible experience.
My experience at TungTao Resort was overall wonderful, thanks to its beautiful ambiance and scenic surroundings. The resort is set in a naturally stunning location, making it a great place to relax and unwind. However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The sitting area was quite limited, which made it a bit inconvenient at times. Additionally, the music was too loud, which took away from the tranquility of the place. Given the resort's natural beauty, it would have been much more enjoyable to simply listen to the soothing sounds of nature. As for our stay, the room we got was not in the best condition, possibly because we booked at the last moment. It wasn't very clean, and we faced an issue with the bathroom flush not working. Despite these drawbacks, the overall atmosphere and charm of the resort made up for it. The food was good, and the hospitality was decent. While there is room for improvement in some areas, I still had a great experience and would recommend TungTao Resort for its beautiful setting and relaxing vibe.
Place make you feel at ease..sound of flowing river is so therapeutic..and feeling of cold water touching you feet is also very magic...if you want to spent your day with you your family, friends and loved ones this is the place.. away from hustle bustle, here you would get cottage to stay in very reasonable rate.. And they also have area for dance, if you are one of those party dancers than you would definitely loved it... They also have a campsite where you can do rafting also.. Food is good..
I'm giving two stars only for the view and the hard working girls staff who are running around from early morning till night. Not worth the hype at all, not value for money situated in the middle of nowhere lacks a lot in amenities and minimum service required.Looks like they don't value customer satisfaction . Wasted my money on the Villa which is nothing but a big room, with two remote control fans , a bathroom with no basic toiletries . I paid 15000/- for two nights for the Villa and got two sachet of shampoo. No provisions for a kettle in the room. If you want to communicate to the house keeping you have to keep going up and down the place. Dinner orders have to be ordered around 8pm and by 9.30 pm the whole place gets shut down and deserted. There's no network except for Jio and if there's any emergency only God knows how you'll ever call someone. No Wi-Fi, no landline plus no network, so you can imagine how we lived in anxiety. Also breakfast had only poori sabji no other option. Day trip to Tung Tao is fine but staying over not at all recommended.
