Visited this property for a night after 4 years and we were surprised to see all the upgrades they have done. The rooms have been renovated/upgraded and now are very comfy, clean and nice. The beds, toilets and every amenities give you a feel of comfort and coziness amidst the nature. The staff were really humble, friendly and helpful. We were served with local delicacies for dinner and we loved all the dishes. My favorite was pork with some local herbs. The prices were reasonable too ( 5500 per night for the cottage including breakfast), considering the location. The USP of this place is definitely the location and the view it offers. The only thing they can improve is on time management. It would have been better if we would have been served breakfast and dinner at the said time. Also, creating a manned reception area is what is needed at the property. Overall, we had a nice and comfortable stay at this property
It was not open when we went. But the location was at a prime spot, right next to the river. The cottages seemed clean. Edit: Stayed in the newly constructed river side cottages, at 4.5k per cottage. The buffet charge is 500rs per head, with 4-5 dishes. Lovely location and great hospitality. The bathrooms are huge and clean.
The real name of this resort is Zaktum Notke. The location of the cottages next to the river is to die for. The wooden cottages are really clean and comfortable and the toilets are clean. Wonderful hospitality by the owner and great food.
The experience was wholesome. Never been to such a nice place. Awesome scenic beauty. But the thing was lack of good service. In a place like this you don't expect good service. Food was good
There is no stay facility available at bomjir one have to come to roing Or can go to dambook.
Charging 5500 rupees for dirty linen, no working geyser, air conditioning and fan. No room service, not enough firewood to keep our fire going at night. Hospitality is very vague which is very typical of Arunachal Pradesh. Nobody comes forward to help their guests. Food was average. My almost 90 year old grandmother had a hard time because there was no room service. The only thing that's good about this place is the location and the views. But I get the same views with a 5 minute drive from my house in Dibrugarh. If it was up to me, I wouldn't pay so much for such basic bamboo huts with no insulation. The bathrooms are warmer than the rooms. It's about time the Arunachalis learn about the potential of tourism in their beautiful state. In the end, the place is not worthy of a revisit.
Location is perfect for a relaxing weekend trip. Lodging cost is bit higher side but amenities are really good depending on the location. Only improvement area we found could be in the kitchen.
