Hotel SVN Lake Palace

Vizianagaram is a small town and I have to visit in a business trip.Bit fear in mind where to accomodate, fooding etc etc.On Google saw this hotel and when verify it's rating saw mix ratings.Took a risk and booked the hotel for one night with a thought in mind to change the hotel if something gone wrong.|But my first impression was awesome at time of check in .Professional staff members, welcome drink on arrival , cold towel for refreshment .Room was indeed good , spacious and comfortable with neat and clean bed , flower soft towels , very good bathroom with cubical shower area.|Ordered food in room as am tired with travelling .Undoubtedly can say one of best biriani I ever had that day.Palak paneer was extra ordinary .|Dinner took in their restaurant in 1st floor , old but well maintained, staffs are courteous and professional.Food was good and tasty same like morning.|Got a chance to interact with their manager , nice gentleman with a motto to give best hospitality to the customers.|Next day buffet breakfast in ground floor veg restaurant .Good combination of menu with freshly cooked south Indian delicacy with north Indian food.Live filter coffee is really adorable. |Few points management must take care as needs few more English speaking staff in junior lever , provide egg items in breakfast ( they providing egg items in room without cost in breakfast session)|After this great experience i extended my stay more 3days till my work finished.|Thank you so much for nice hospitality.|Love to recommend this place to others.

In a marriage party i went there with my family & kids . Only descent hotel in the town .Initially we booked a executive category , rooms are clean and neat but little small for 2kids , I upgraded my room to Club Suite though I wanted to take Club Room , sadly all room sold . Club Suite bit costly but rooms are bigger , clean and neat & bathroom is cute & cleaned. |Have my lunch in their first floor restaurant , nice & tasty food more importantly price is very affordable , Dinner was party , excellent food and properly maintain of hygenic. Next day breakfast is one of the best breakfast I ever have , Good combination of south indian & north indian food, Live tea & coffee counter is another attraction .|Staff members are gentle and guest oriented , Wish to stay for one more night but our flight was from Visakhapatnam at 1pm , so checked out room by 9am after breakfast.|Love to come her again and it's really a Recommendable place to others.|Keep up the good work .

I had a terrible experience with the food at SVN Lake Palace Hotel in Vizianagaram. The quality was extremely poor, and both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were disappointing. The food lacked freshness, taste, and proper seasoning. Some dishes were too oily, while others felt stale and unappetizing.||The service was slow, and the staff seemed indifferent to customer concerns. Given the hotel's reputation, I expected a much better dining experience, but it turned out to be a complete letdown. Definitely not worth the price! I strongly urge the management to improve their food quality and service before losing more customers. Please improve u r food management

Ok, please hear me out on this review, before you may want to squash this review as just another rarely occurring bad experience. This is not that, it is about the behaviour and customer retaining policies that matter for any business. The hotel must have been the best hotel in Vizianagaram once upon a time, but is in tatters at the moment. There is a series of rooms on the third floor which are in bad shape and need renovation soon, and is not worthy to justify the amount of money the hotel charges for them. Some of these rooms we booked had a leaky faucets and non-working flush systems. The bathrooms are so small, they do not seem like to be a part of a room in the most popular hotel of the city. They have some renovated rooms on other floors which are funnily lake view, but with the old existing windows cemented out. The bad rooms should be closed, but are still in service. Biggest thing that you expect from any customer facing service is that you compensate them when there is evident bad experience. Sadly, the front desk lacks empathy or ideas to win a returning customer. Discounts do not make the cut sometimes for the bad experience, you have to talk to the customer in a polite and understanding manner. The hotel has a good setup for its housekeeping and room service, who are really helpful and efficient. I would pick a oyo instead next time, over this hotel, for a stay in Vizianagaram.

Very eager to earn money without having any courtesy or humbleness towards customers... highly disappointed with their service & management...told them that "I will not approach their hotel again in my lifetime"...

Nice place to visit and stay with the family..well trained,Humble staff Food was so yummy I will definitely visit this place again..

Good experience needs improvement in service " I stayed here for 3 days with family and overall experience was ok rooms were clean and location is close to bus stand has good parking space rear though not covered service could have been better as staff lacks 3 star training and you have to ask or follow up for basic things like water towel etc apart from this a good place to stay with family
