Hotel Karanth's

Not so bad Not so good.average.But very low cheap in room rent compartively near railway station. But very good restarent in this hotel.non ac rs 900+,ac rs 1100+.i have booked Through Yatra app.they have charged rs 1300+for non ac room.too high.30%extra.so booking rooms directly best.

The hotel is closer to the railway station and the room fare is fine. The staff interaction is commendable. However the stay may not be a pleasant experience! Rooms are spacious and the beds are big. However it is very difficult to stay in Non-Ac rooms because of the extreme temperatures at Vizag. I have seen a couple of bugs in the bed, but what affected my sleep was the hot temperature! So, AC rooms are preferable here. Don't expect birds chirping or water flowing soothing experiences; but the vehicles honking, sounds from the railway station, and airplanes. I will be booking a room next time also while traveling solo because the railway station is near, but will take some ear buds with me, definitely.

Budget rooms, good to stay, but room service is very bad. Room locking system was not working for my room. Near to Railway Station. Food is excellent.. Seems they are experts in making Dosa, and other south Indian dishes. Overall good lodging and boarding..

Stayed for one night with my family. Though triple AC room was booked, what was provided upon check-in was a double bed. Later when I demanded for that, they changed the room for which I had to wait for more time. Better cleanliness is required. Maintenance of the rooms requires much attention.

Very good veg. restaurant. Rooms in front very noisy. The staff of the hotel and their restaurant are very friendly. You feel welcome. The rooms could do with some maintenance now. It is still a very good budget option. Location is good, near the railway station. When you come by road from the south, take the "Port Highway" on your right who brings you right in front of the hotel. (By following the signs to the railway station)

First + is the friendly staff of the hotel and the restaurant. Room rates are good. Non A/C 600 = OK. room and bathroom are comfortable and clean. In the morning you get the newspaper under your door. Only thing: I could not find any hot water, but maybe because the tap was loose. The service is quickly. The restaurant serves really good South Indian food.
