Hotel Golden Arrow - Beach Road

First, I would like to point out that this is not like a regular Hotel. They have converted 3BHK flats into a hotel setup. So the name could mislead us as it did in our case. Second, it was really difficult to find this place, especially during the night. There is no streetlight in the street and also in the surrounding streets. It was very scary and it took us a lot of time to reach this place from Visakhapatnam railway station. Third, the person who was at the reception during the night was a bit rude and was not responding to us properly. The next day, there was another person who was kind of sweet and offered us options for keeping the luggage even after we checked out. Fourth, the only advantage is its location near Rushikonda Beach. If we are planning to explore places in Visakhapatnam, it is better to book a place within the city and not here. Fifth, the room was good but we were not provided with the mandatory things like towel, soap, shampoo, etc. We didn't have a feeling like we stayed in a hotel. It was like staying in some homestay. The name can be changed to Homestay instead of Hotel. Overall, the stay for us was decent but with some difficulties. We booked in the month of December 2024.

This hotel is a hidden gem! Its near to the highway makes it easily accessible, and the beach is just a short walk away. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and supportive, making our stay truly enjoyable. Plus, the hotel has a convenient parking space and a functional lift. Highly recommend!

The building is not a hotel. They have converted a 3 bedroom apartment into a hotel. It is better to stay in a guest house or homestay. The rooms are small and the location is not at all great. Totally not worth the money.
