Multiple Disappointing Stays - Poor Service, Poor Maintenance After multiple stays at Ginger Gajuwaka, I'm compelled to leave this review due to the consistently poor experience. Room entry cards frequently stop working, forcing repeated visits to the reception just to access the room. This happens almost every time and is never proactively addressed. Room service is extremely slow and unresponsive. Basic requests require multiple follow-ups, and the staff often doesn't even answer calls. Food service, whether room delivery or at the restaurant, is painfully delayed and uncoordinated. No apologies, no urgency. The internet connection is unreliable at best -- it's frequently down, which is a major inconvenience, especially for business travelers. Again, no effective troubleshooting or communication from the staff. To make matters worse, the air conditioning often malfunctions. Rooms are either too hot or the AC doesn't work at all, making the stay uncomfortable. Maintenance is either delayed or non-existent. Despite raising these issues repeatedly during each stay, there's been no improvement. Management seems indifferent to guest comfort or feedback. I would not recommend this hotel. For the price and brand name, you expect a certain standard -- unfortunately, Ginger Gajuwaka doesn't even meet the basics.

The stay was very comfortable. Front desk staff Indu sri and Nirup were very supportive and professional. They always offered quick resolution to any requirement abided during thr stay. Rooms were neat and clean. Room service staff and food is also a big thumbs up.

My stay at the Ginger was fantastic! The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance to DMart and everything. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Rama swamy manager. The breakfast, lunch and Dinner was delicious and had a great variety with affordable rates. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone."

I recently stayed at Ginger Hotel for three days and had a great experience. The ambiance was pleasant, and the security team warmly welcomed me upon arrival. The reception staff was knowledgeable, and the housekeeping team was highly professional. One suggestion for improvement would be adding an EV charging point, which would be a great convenience for guests. I truly appreciate Security Supervisor Ramarao and his team for their excellent service. As for the food, the breakfast was decent--not the best, but satisfactory. The hotel also offers good indoor games and a decent gym, adding to the overall experience. Great stay with IHCL

I wish I could give negative rating It's truly baffling how a reputable brand like Ginger can allow the Gajuwaka location to sink to such abysmal depths. My repeated stays have been nothing short of exercises in frustration, a testament to either gross incompetence or a shocking disregard for guest comfort and basic service standards. Let's start with the elementary issue of room access. The unreliability of the key cards is beyond a minor inconvenience; it's a recurring obstacle course that forces guests to waste precious time trekking to the front desk. This isn't a one-off glitch; it's a systemic failure that remains unaddressed, highlighting a fundamental breakdown in operational efficiency. Moving on to room service, it's an insult to the very term. Requests vanish into a black hole, and the phone seems to ring into oblivion. When, by some miracle, an order does arrive, the glacial pace suggests a complete lack of urgency or staffing. It's clear that basic hospitality is a foreign concept here. The restaurant experience mirrors this incompetence. Dining here is an endurance test of waiting, with food deliveries that defy any reasonable timeframe. The chaos and lack of coordination are palpable, creating an atmosphere of sheer exasperation. One wonders if the staff are even aware that they are in the service industry. For business travelers, the frequent internet outages are not just annoying; they are crippling. In today's world, reliable connectivity is a necessity, not a luxury. The consistent failure to provide this basic amenity renders this hotel utterly unsuitable for anyone needing to work remotely or stay connected. And then there's the issue of climate control. The malfunctioning AC units transform rooms into sweltering boxes, making even simple tasks like sleeping or working unbearable. The subsequent maintenance response, when it occurs at all, is agonizingly slow and often ineffective. It's clear that guest comfort is simply not a priority. What's most infuriating is the utter lack of improvement despite repeated complaints. This isn't about isolated incidents; it's a pattern of neglect that suggests a deep-seated problem within the management structure. Either they are blissfully unaware of the chaos unfolding under their noses, or, more disturbingly, they simply don't care enough to rectify it. My experiences at Ginger Gajuwaka have been a masterclass in how to utterly fail at hospitality. This isn't just disappointing; it's an outright betrayal of the standards one expects from the Ginger brand. Unless drastic and immediate changes are implemented, this location will remain a black mark on your reputation and a place to be avoided at all costs.

One of the best in Vizag, would recommend to people who are looking for a comfortable stay with comfort food. Shoutout to the restaurant staffs shiva, Jannat & Madhu and front office team Chandini, Indusri and lokesh.

Inspiring Buddha

This is for the first time in here and I love this place. Rooms are big, clean and noiseless. Television, AC, refrigerator, everything is working. The food is best. The complimentey breakfast was SUPERB!! The best part was the front desk. Ms INDU greeted with a welcome drink and help me the check in process simple, ease and happy! Thanks and kudos to Ms. Indu. Overall it was a great experience and surely recommend this place!

We went there on 20th of March 2025, for office party , worst experience ever Too much price. quality is also not satisfied. We went on buffet, the no of items are very limited and that to an average taste They won't even provide proper starters and desserts
