Hyatt Place Vijayawada

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The food was fantastic--lots of variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious taste. We especially loved the desserts. A perfect experience.|We will come back again!

Rating: I recently stayed at Hyatt Place Vijayawada and, unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations -- especially for a brand like Hyatt. The property carries a persistent foul smell, from the basement all the way up to the rooms and corridors. The bathrooms were untidy and had a strong unpleasant odor, and the towels provided were old and unclean. Despite booking a double occupancy room, amenities were provided only for one person. The front office staff were unprofessional, untrained, and completely indifferent to guest concerns. They were unable to answer basic questions about the property, did not assist with luggage, and their grooming standards were extremely poor. On multiple occasions, staff were seen arguing and speaking loudly in the local language right in front of guests, making the environment uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Security was another serious concern -- the guard was clueless and I did not feel safe or secure throughout my stay. The hotel was poorly lit both inside and out, with lights often turned off even during the day, creating a dark and gloomy atmosphere. Parking was a nightmare and overall cleanliness was consistently lacking -- dirty linens with stains were used on the beds. I am disappointed and saddened to see such poor standards associated with the Hyatt name. I hope the management takes serious note and initiates immediate improvements.

Awesome restaurant! The food is awesome. The breakfast spread is really rich,the flavors are well balanced and the hospitality shown by the employees is wonderful. Our host Sanjana was really polite and respectful and our stay was really pleasent. The hotel was a few Km's away from Bhavani Island which was a little downside for me but apart from that everything was really nice.

We stayed here for around 4 days. The stay was very comfortable and the breakfast is wide spread and the best part is tea and coffee are being made in a live counter. Dinner buffet is also good but my only suggestion is please try including pizza live counter for dinner. It will become little easy with the kids! Very luxurious stay!

Front desk was cooperative and gave an early check in. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Good spread in the breakfast as well as the dinner. Special mention to sanjana for her hospitality. Overall a nice stay which is worth repeating again.

I recently stayed at Hyatt Place Vijayawada, expecting a comfortable and seamless experience from a reputed brand. Unfortunately, my stay was far from pleasant due to multiple issues that made it a horrible experience. Firstly, the hotel is severely understaffed, especially in the room service. The staff members were trying their best, but it was clear that they were overworked and struggling to keep up with the demands of guests. This led to delayed service and very long waiting times even for basic requests. Simple things like extra towels or water bottles required multiple follow-ups. Additionally, it took 30 minutes just to get my luggage from the lobby to my room, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Another major drawback is the location. The hotel is situated next to a drainage, leading to a persistent foul smell in and around the property. This significantly affects the overall ambiance and comfort of the stay. To make matters worse, the restaurant was infested with mosquitoes, making it nearly impossible to enjoy a meal in peace. For a Hyatt property, I expected much better service, cleanliness, and efficiency. Unfortunately, Hyatt Place Vijayawada falls short in all these aspects. Unless they address their staffing issues, improve maintenance, and take necessary steps to control mosquitoes and odors, I would not recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a hassle-free stay.

I am staying at Hyatt Place Vijayawada after traveling a long distance and hoping to get some rest. The rooms were not ready till 5.00 pm and the front desk staff are not able to handle inquiries or concerns of the guests courteously or satisfactorily. They seem uncertain and cold. Once the rooms were ready, we found them smelly and the bed linen stained. The reading lamps were broken and hanging. The corridors were lined with used crockery which was not collected. We spent the waiting time in the restaurant where there was one staff member present. We got bitten by mosquitoes. The food was good and she served it well. There is no swimming pool or spa available. The gym is not staffed. There is noisy construction work going on continuously till 7.00 pm. Overall, not a restful experience and would not recommend it.

Excellent rooms and great service. I lost my patience with a couple of staff members because of my misunderstanding but they acted very professionally. The food was great but we had to wait for a long time for the service both for breakfast and lunch. May be the busy public holiday to be blamed. There is a function hall on the first floor and the songs from the event are so loud. I have complained but it didn't get any better.
