Bhavani Island

Location is really good to have fun with friends and family. But the government has to focus more on this place. It's a good tourist place in Vijayawada. So they must develop it. Nature is good. Water sports are crazy. If you take a full package for 1k, it's worth. Otherwise waste of money. Rooms are okay. The price is for the location not for the room. So basic rooms only. Food isn't that good in island. I would suggest to carry your food or have your lunch outside the island.

Ample parking space, entry is kept neatly. Boat ride to island is very short, every one is asked to wear the life jacket. Island is covered with trees, Swings are tied to tree for kids & adults at various spots, Speed boats, water rides are available, photography during ride is available at additional cost. Can bargain price for rides in island if you go as groups. Option to take photo with Macaw is there & few more activities are available. Overall ok to spend some time here.

Bhavani Island - A Scenic Destination with Poor Maintenance Bhavani Island is undeniably a beautiful getaway, but unfortunately, it is poorly maintained. The accommodation falls far short of expectations. The rooms lack basic amenities like an extra bed, and when we requested one for a child, the hotel management informed us that all extra beds were lost in last year's floods, leaving them with none. Hygiene is another major concern - the rooms had cockroaches and flies, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The mattresses on the cots were outdated and in dire need of replacement. Dining options were also disappointing, with a very limited menu available at the restaurant during the night. While the island offers various activities, only a few are actually functional. However, speed boating remains a key attraction. On a positive note, the staff was courteous and helpful. But given these shortcomings, the accommodation is not worth the 3500+ price tag. The place has great potential but needs urgent improvements in cleanliness, facilities, and maintenance.

After crossing river Krishna by boat reached Bhavani island. Boating is a nice experience. Resturant, trees, play area forchildren attract tourists. I feel island can be improved with more activites.

A must watch place for all the generations.visited this place on a festive season when the crowd was full but they really managed well.loved all the water rides.kids also have special games which they really love to play with.food is also available but we can carry our own food too.travelling through boat is a nice experience.overall it's a 5 on 5

Water activities are good, need to bargain for 5 activities for 1000 rupees Experience is too gud.

Good place to visit but No maintenance and only 1 hotel that's haritha.
