My Visit to Tirupati - A Disappointing Stay at Hill View Paradise I visited Tirupati recently with my 10-month-old baby for a spiritual journey, hoping for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Unfortunately, Hill View Paradise turned out to be one of the most unpleasant experiences I've had. False Promises in the Name and Photos The name "Hill View Paradise" is misleading--there is absolutely no view. The images on booking platforms are highly deceptive and don't match the actual property. Unmet Expectations in Room Facilities I had booked a budget room that clearly mentioned a double bed and a single bed, but only the double bed was provided. The water pressure in the bathroom was too low, and the induction stove in the kitchen didn't work. Booking Confusion and Lack of Responsibility Just before we arrived, I received a message saying the booking had been cancelled. My attempts to contact the owner were ignored. Only when my mother spoke in the local language did we get a response, which was vague and unapologetic. Cold Welcome and No Basic Courtesy Upon arrival, we were asked to pay immediately, which is uncommon for such accommodations. No basic information like Wi-Fi details or property instructions was shared. When I asked about it, I was met with hostility and told to leave, despite traveling with an infant. Insensitive and Stressful Communication Later that night, I received a message instructing me to check out by 10 AM the next day, without considering that we had an important family ceremony and darshan planned. The tone and behavior were completely uncalled for and disrespectful. Final Thoughts I do not recommend Hill View Paradise to anyone, especially families with small children. The owner's rude and unprofessional behavior deeply affected what should have been a peaceful and spiritual trip.

My Visit to Tirupati: A Disappointing Experience at Hill View Paradise I recently visited Tirupati with my 10-month-old baby for a spiritual trip to have darshan of Lord Balaji and Padmavathi Amma. Unfortunately, our stay at Hill View Paradise was far from pleasant. Misleading Advertising: The property's name is a misnomer, as there is no view to speak of. The images on booking.com and Google are misleading and do not accurately represent the accommodation. Room Discrepancies: I booked a budget room advertised with a double bed and a single bed, but the single bed was not provided. The water pressure in the bathroom was low, and the kitchen's induction stove malfunctioned. Poor Communication and Customer Service: The most troubling aspect was the owner's unprofessional behavior. Upon arriving in Tirupati, I received a message stating my booking had been cancelled. My attempts to contact the owner were ignored. When my mother called in the local language, the owner claimed the message was sent by mistake but failed to follow up with an apology or clarification. Unwelcoming Atmosphere: Upon arrival, I was immediately asked to pay, which is unusual for most accommodations. The owner failed to provide basic information such as the Wi-Fi password or explain the property's facilities. When I inquired about these oversights, I was accused of being rude and asked to leave, despite having an infant with me. Insensitive Treatment: Later that evening, I received a text demanding I check out by 10 am the next morning, disregarding my plans for my child's tonsure ceremony and darshan. The owner's words and actions were deeply hurtful and marred what should have been a spiritual journey. In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at Hill View Paradise, especially for families with young children. The owner's insensitivity, arrogance, and unprofessional conduct can potentially ruin your trip to Tirupati.
My Visit to Tirupati - A Disheartening Stay at Hill View Paradise I recently visited Tirupati with my 10-month-old baby on a spiritual journey to seek the blessings of Lord Balaji and Padmavathi Amma. While the darshan was fulfilling, our stay at Hill View Paradise was unfortunately disappointing and stressful. Misleading Name and Images The name Hill View Paradise is misleading--there is no actual view to speak of. The images on booking platforms like Booking.com and Google are not a true reflection of the property. This set an immediate tone of distrust. Room Issues I had booked a budget room that was supposed to include both a double bed and a single bed. However, the single bed was missing. Additionally, the water pressure in the bathroom was quite poor, and the kitchen's induction stove was not working properly--basic amenities you would expect to be functional. Poor Communication and Unprofessional Behavior The most distressing part of the experience was the communication, or lack thereof, from the owner. I was shocked to receive a cancellation message upon arrival in Tirupati. My calls went unanswered until my mother contacted them in the local language. Only then did the owner admit the message was a "mistake," with no apology or clarification offered. Lack of Hospitality Upon arrival at the property, I was immediately asked to pay upfront--a practice that is uncommon and felt unwelcoming. No information was provided about the facilities or even the Wi-Fi password. When I raised these concerns, instead of addressing them, I was accused of being rude and told to vacate--despite being there with an infant. Insensitive and Inconsiderate Treatment Later that evening, I received a message instructing me to check out by 10 AM the next day, without any regard for my child's tonsure ceremony or our temple plans. The entire experience felt cold, unprofessional, and devoid of the empathy one would expect from a hospitality provider--especially in a spiritual town like Tirupati. Final Thoughts I would not recommend Hill View Paradise, particularly for families with young children. The owner's insensitivity, poor communication, and unprofessional conduct turned what should have been a serene and spiritual journey into a stressful experience.
