Hotel D Dev

I recently stayed at Hotel D Dev during a business trip and was thoroughly impressed. The service was exceptional--staff were courteous, prompt, and always ready to assist with a smile. Stayed one night on my way to Bangalore. My review based on this short stay and based on my need to stay close to NH so that I can easily start early on next morning. Hotel is at good location, parking available, near to NH. Have the complementary good quality breakfast. Little bit disappointed on the service, since I was very tired after a long drive need to get a.ro.quicly for rest But they are slow and the allocated a room without a proper check. Room was not clean, bathroom was unusable, tv not working. Anyway after complain they changed the room.

Can't you provide dental kit in the room. What would you say, for standard room no dental kit, what kind of disgusting rules. Then you should mention earlier. Seriously disappointed with the service, Service is worst . And the maintainance is bad.

The hotel is basically an apartment where few units has been taken by the hotel. Rooms are well equipped but lots of mosquitoes. Breakfast wasn't good. Didn't seem worth the amount I paid.

From my ratings it's visible that it was a terribly mixed experience? After driving 10+ hours from Bangalore one expects at least a proper reception? We walked into the hotel lobby, Both the personnel, Manning the front desk ignored us as if we did not exist? Deviya, she was on the mobile, kept chatting when she could have gestured, that she would be with us in a moment, no offence? Forgetting the man's name, he was busy looking at some receipts or paper, looked at us and carried on. It was when I firmly asked them to pay attention to us, Divya looked up and asked "Do you have a reservation today"?? the most stupid irrational question ever. Then they checked us in as if they were doing us a favor and allotted us a room The person who came to take our luggage was so lethargic that he appeared to be sleep walking? The room that they allotted was 2022, when we opened the washbasin tap it was leaking so badly that the room was literally flooded. It took 45 minutes for a plumber to appear. He couldn't fix the leak so he informed the reception to change our room. We were then allotted room 2021 after 9 pm, which was not in a better condition but We were so tired, we accepted our fate. Next morning it was a worse experience, I had to take the luggage myself (I am in my 70's), to my car. The moment I loaded my car and was about to start, the morning Security guard, strolls up to my vehicle, taps on my window and tells me "Chai ka paise do"????? The audacity? Bad reception and worse send off.

Only 3 stars for the rooms and the service because they were so average. And the service is very slow. However the breakfast buffet option can be acquired at a reasonable rate and the buffet is a fantastic spread so 5 stars to it!!!
