OYO 48624 Royal Fort

Don't get carried away by the pictures. This hotel is not what it looks like in the photos. Rooms have foul smell. They do not have geysers, hot water will be delivered in buckets when requested. They did not provide towels and when we asked they say that it rained the previous day all the towels are wet. They did not provide the room key either. We had to demand for it. Booked this through Make My Trip where it says breakfast is included but after coming here they say it's not included and we have to pay for it. When we put up a fight they gave it for free.

Rooms look good but Maintenance of hotel is bad. Staff is reckless. They do not give enough towels and bedsheets. Don't book room for triple occupancy as they say to adjust in king bed though triple occupancy tariff is higher than double occupancy. Hence no point in paying higher for triple occupancy. Location is in good commercial center and area is good. They don't have parking.

The room size for three was quite OK. But furnishings are too old to appeal. The staff was courteous. Restaurant is under renovation and hence we had to go out for food. Fortunately couple of restaurants are near by. Only issue is that the whole area is smelly. I could not enjoy walking on any of the roads and hence did not go for shopping at all. Every time I have to come out of the hotel and walk on the road, I had to close my nose! Not nice surroundings to stay in. I do not recommend to stay in any hotel in and around the Royal Fort Hotel. Of course surroundings are nothing to do with the hotel itself.

We stayed here just for a day. We had been given suite room. Bed and linens were clean. Bathroom was well maintained. Pros is that you have one of the good restaurants of rajahmundry in the same building (greentree restaurant). Cons is that it's right in the middle of the city! Parking is available in basement with cctv facility. Staff were good with a hassle free checkin and checkout at 430AM!

This is in good location but the maintenance is very bad. AC was not working properly and the washroom is not clean. I stayed due to no other option at late night, will not prefer this place again. Staffs were ready to change the room but all rooms are in same condition and after long day had to settle with the better one available.

Probably the best budget hotel in Rajahmundry. Centrally located in Commercial area. Near to Railway station and Bus station. . Hotel staff are professional and courteous. Food is delicious. Worst experience. Stayed here bcuz of our office made the online booking through cleartrip. Only the pictures in their website looks good. Rooms are worst. Expensive for what they charge. They say complimentary breakfast in the brochure but they don't provide. The coffee, tea, breakfast they will bring it from outside. We have to pay only through cash no card facility available. In these days who will carry hard cash. Over charging also noticed. Overall worst experience. I will never suggest this hotel to any.

Just wanted to tell you that I visited this hotel today i.e. Jan 24th,2016 and are not satisfied..... Not worth paying that price for the kind of facilities we get. Rooms were not clean. One of the AC not working.. Additional matrices were as thin as flying dish. No hot water. In appropriate calculation. Below is the pic of 3 matrices and also kept my feet for measure (I didn't get anything else as of now)... I am never ever going to come back and also I am not going to suggest anyone here....
