Hotel Transit Bay

Extremely poor hotel. 1000's of mosquitoes and never washed bed spreads and bed sheet.i usually don't write such negative reviews for any nothing. But this was intolerable. Other minor things which we adjusted was 1. No water bottle , soap , towels and nothing is given 2. Too much of train sounds while sleeping since it is just backside of train station 3. Lights and fans were not working properly in few rooms.

Hotel located very near to Railway station.Rooms are spacious but not clean. The major problem is mosquitoes. Every room has 100 to 200 mosquitoes. The room I stayed in was not cleaned well, hairs were found everywhere and they did not change the bedsheet. TV was there but not working.AC was working fine.

Very very waste and worst staff and bad smell and they behaviour also very very bad ..

Stayed from 8th to 9th Oct, 23. Value for money. Location is also 400m apprx from railway station . AC ,Tv with sport channel, Hindi, English news, geyser, every thing working fine. No mosquito or bedbug in the room. Bathroom is very small but clean. Back up power supply through Generator. Reliance trend and senorita restaurant in the same building. Many eateries near by. Iscon temple 1 km . Overall a great stay at a reasonable price. Booked through GOIBIBO @1100 APPRX AC room.

We were driving from Puri to Bangalore and needed a place to halt. Given our pace we decided Rajahmundry would be a good choice. We wanted a budget hotel which is hygienic with basic amenities. We zeroed in on this hotel as not much options were available. In spite it being beside the railway station we said let's take a risk as we were too tired to be distracted by honking of train engines. We It was easy to find the hotel and we got good parking. The check in was fast. It was 1030 pm but the hotel kitchen was closed. But, we found food nearby. The room was nice but the bathroom small. But it was clean which is what we wanted. We had our food and had a good sleep. The bed was quite comfortable. While there were sounds of train honking and screeching sound of trains coming to a halt but we were too tired to be bothered by it In the morning the hotel authority delivered our breakfast in our room, which we really appreciated. The check in time was 11 pm, which also they extended by an hour on our request without any charge. Given the generosity we also hurried and checked out at 1130 AM Couple of things I have to mention. The Wi fi was fast and furious. Secondly the watch man was a kind man, he brought water and cleaned our wind shield. When we wanted to tip him he was not willing to take it but we forced him to take the money which he reluctantly accepted. I would suggest if you are travellers hoping between cities this would be a good bet at a very good price.

At a hotel in Rajahamundy, I took a single room. For 999 rs per day. The room is small.but where the ac is working, the TV is working. Attached bathroom with western toilets and geyser available. But the room walls are very bad. There are water leakages. And a mold smell is coming. And I find cockroaches in the room. And blankets and bedsheets are dirty. Apart from all these there is a lot of car parking :-) And the room rent is also very budget friendly 999 only but not that good. Don't have door mates at the bathroom, I asked in the reception. But they didnt provide. Don't have hangers to put clothes in the wardrobe Don't have bolts to the washroom.

This hotel is located next to railway station and easily accessible. It takes hardly 2 minutes to reach this place from railway station. Rooms are clean and neat but the rooms are very small. The hotel is good for short stay. The price they charge is reasonable. Even thought the hotel is next to railway track, you can sleep peacefully.||||This is one of few hotels where you get 24 hour hot water. There is a geyser fitted to individual room and hence you get hot water anytime.||||They also have a restaurant, which serves veg and non-veg. The food quality is not so great. If you are a vegetarian, there is a budget restaurant opposite to railway station.

Hotel Transit Bay.. It very well lived up to its name. I stayed here as a part of my super long solo bike trip for an overnight stop over. This hotel is located next to the Rajahmundry railway station and very easy to locate. It has got ample parking space with proper security.||||The check in was pretty quick and hassle free. I had made the payment during check-in itself as I was supposed to leave very early next morning. The room was allocated quickly. My room was not that spacious, but enough for a single person. It was neat and clean and maintained well, including the toilet. The blanket, bed linen, towels and the pillow covers were clean. There was slight noise of train horns coming from the railway lines, but it was manageable (as I rode for more than 900 KMs and was too tired).||||There is no in-house restaurant available at this hotel. But the staff was very proactive in bringing me some food from outside. The staff even took care of my bike to cover it with a big piece of polythene and asked me to put an extra lock on it for safety although the security was present throughout.||||I feel this is a nice place to have an overnight stay during the travel.
