The place was very comfortable for staying. Considering the resort being 2.5 kms away from Prasanthi Nilayam, the manager, Mamatha and the other managers tried their best to provide water for drinking, which was separately provided. We had continuous water supply for bathing and wahing purposes. AC was also working. Though it was late night, the manager bought food from a nearby vegetarian hotel and provided it to us. Overall, the stay was very good. Would recommend for short stays for a bery affordable price which we had booked via Skyscanner.

The whole resort looks beautiful but its maintenance is really bad. We went with our team for our day outing and the swimming pool's color was in green. They said it is because of the rain but I do not understand how it will change color overnight. Also, none of taps in the rooms were working and the door knobs also did not work in the washroom properly. AC was also not working and only the premium rooms were comparatively better. The management was only trying to blame the workers and was only focusing on convincing us somehow instead of accepting or assuring to make the necessary changes.
There was powercut due to thunderstorm. No inverter nor diesel generator available. Heat and mosquitoes present. So I used AC for only 3 hours after checking in. Power cut happened at 5 pm, I waited till 10 pm for power to come back then went to another hotel with generator for AC use. Not even partial refund given to me. You are left to God s mercy if powercut, they pocket savings of electricity bill and rent when powercut is there when you don't stay there. You are responsible if powercut present and pay full price 3920 rupees per day after checking out. Windows not cleaned well. Rooms paint peeling off in some rooms. Wash basin water leaking out. Out of three ACs shown only two working even if no powercut. Be careful. I will not go there to pay full price if powercut is there. Property is not in good shape. No maintenance.
Sathyam Resorts is quiet, peaceful and surrounded by nature. View of the Puttaparthi mountains and green rice-fields just opposite the resort.Walkable distance to ashram along the Durga-temple down to Chitravathi road, then left turn towards Ganesha Gate of the ashram. Takes about fifteen to twenty minutes to walk to ashram and it is a lovely walk. Rooms are spacious, well kept and clean. Nice bathrooms and friendly staff. Food orders take little time, but just sitting outside for a cup of tea, enjoying the fresh air and wind and scenery or watching a movie inside the restaurant on a big screen TV is a great way of spending time waiting for good food. Listening to birds is another relaxing pass-time at Sathyam resort. White Egrets flying over you is magical and the sunsets are gorgeous...try it sometime. Food is good, tasty and the cook makes it according to the needs of customers, like spicy or medium spicy etc...we love it. Staff is very friendly.
the place is really good. it offers a peaceful atmosphere as it is located on a well built street with minimal traffic. u can easily count the vehicles passing by. they have a police trained dog for security. the location though away from the crowd is very near the Ashram premises. the staff provides for all your needs and even give travel assistance.
A very comfortable arrangements for the people visiting Puttaparthy. There are today for villas. Each is double storied and have two bedrooms on both the floor. It has a kitchen and drawing room/ dining area. Staff is cordial and helpful. It has got nice grass lawn outside. The central kitchen is good and spacious and serve Indian as well as north Indian food.
Satyam resorts is a good, homely place to stay in Parthi....its a quiet place...we paid Rs.2500 per day and got the ground floor of one of the houses...for Rs.2500/- you get 2 rooms, both of which have ACs'...a kitchen...a hall and 2 separate bathrooms...||||The rooms have a simple decor..certain things maybe lacking...such as the liquid in the mosquito repellent was over...you can ask them to provide you another one that has ample liquid to ward off the mosquitoes...the paint is peeling off in certain parts of the rooms...but again...you ignore these things as the main point of having come to Parthi is to go the ashram to visit Swamy's samadhi...||||The staff are very polite and are helpful...the food is homely...don't expect too many choices...having said that...their quantities are huge...and actually pretty tasty...||||Commuting to and from the ashram may seem a bit daunting...it is a bit isolated...but if you have your car or bike..then its within 5 mins distance...to be on the safer side...if commuting by auto rickshaw...do try and take down a few trusted auto drivers numbers so that you can call them to the resort to pick you up and ferry you to the ashram...yes, you will have to pay more for that...||||All in all....the stay was pleasant for my family and I...we felt we were in our own home...
Had the opportunity of staying at Satyam Resorts on a recent work trip to Puttaparthi. The resort is situated just off the main road leading to Prasanthi Nilayam, and while its a walking distance away from the Ashram and the centre of town, gives you the peace and solitude of a out of city resort.||||Villa Styled resort with each Villa having 2 independent apartments, with one on the ground floor and one on the first. Each apartment comes with 2 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. ||||The apartments are pretty new, very clean and maintained, and come with basic furniture comprising of a bed, writing table, and a sofa in the drawing room. Kitchen though available is bare. The First Floor Apartments are costlier and while having the same dimensions, come with an addition of a fridge, better equipped living room, and Satellite TV. Both flats come with AC's in the Bedrooms and Living Rooms, and Geyser in the bathroom.||||The resort has a restaurant and service is quick. Staff are also very attentive and requirements are taken care of immediately.||||Good place to stay in if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main town, but still a stones throw away from it.
