Golden Sands is a simple place to stay at a very reasonable price. With decent service staff, but no room service, the hotel is maintained cleanly and lives upto the hygiene expectations! With prices so low, this is one of the best places to stay at Araku! Booking online, you'll get rates as 1200 for NON-AC , and 1500 for AC Rooms. Booking through goibibo will get you further discounts. Make sure you keep a lot of edibles and drinks with you for the night because this is located slightly off road and getting to the market area isn't a walking distance, so getting supplies after you've retired for the night would be extremely difficult and they don't stock up anything except for Tea, which is also available based on the cook's availability.

Hotel is on the main road so no problem finding it. Decent place to stay. Rooms not so good but since it's a valley, it's justified. Railway station is 3 kms away. Availability of auto and everything else. Overall decent place to stay

This place is good notbecause of the maintenence , cost or some thng. It is good because it is not far from the tourist places like Chapa raya ,Borra caves etc. And it has many villa ges and fields which makes you know about the life of the tribals and what they do.but beware it is cold in the winter

Worst experience ever. Waste of money. No music. No fire camp. No basic facilities. Not even a flush in the bathroom is working. No proper door locks and lights in the room. Bed was disgusting. No geyser. Tasteless food. Very high prices.

Worst experience. Unhygienic bathrooms, dirty rooms, no hot water. Front desk response is also not so friendly. Price is too high but there are no basic amenities also. In short, there is nothing good about this. Don't choose this unless you just want a shelter to stay for a night and there are no other options available.

Golden Sands is a very nice place for stay. I went their with my parent's and relatives.. such a Peaceful place with a good environment. Maintenance and services also Best. Totally lovely....

If I had to put this in One word then it would be "Pathetic".I know it's on valley so things like Lack of Voltage and Insects are justified. But things like 1. Overpriced Rooms 2. No basic facilities (like soaps,food,plates) not available 3. Disgusting Towels 4. Dirty Bedsheets,Pilow and Blankets 5. Dirty and smelly Rooms 6. Uncleaned toilets Are not acceptable Another minor problem was the Entrance,if your car has LOW GROUND CLEARANCE than it's bound to be hit in the bottom at the slope of the entrance.
