Shilra Hotel

Not fine dining. More like homely Korean food, perfect for all the Koreans around on account of the Kia factory. We reached around 1345 and their Nepali chef said sorry kitchen closed and only allowed us Ramen Noodles soup that had a Maggi feel but was surprisingly tasty and filling. After some more persuasion by the friendly serving staff from Nagaland and Meghalaya, we got a pork chops soup and sticky rice out of the gruff Nepali chef. Prices at 600 each for the Ramens and 700 plus taxes for the pork soup are not exactly middle class which is what the place looks like. If you're in the area and like to experiment, certainly worth a try. Good parking and wheelchair accessible.

The best hotel in Penukonda! The management and staff are very courteous and attentive. The view from the hotel room is excellent and the rooms are spacious. The Korean food at the restaurant is delicious and freshly made. It is ideally located and has many amenities too. If you are looking for a place to stay or eat in Penukonda, you must go here!

Was so excited to eat here en-route to Hyderabad but no one was picking up the phone and was difficult to find. When we finally reached the place after a few hundred meters of driving through a mud road, they said it's too late for lunch. Could not understand the logic since we reached around 12:55. Not sure but I can only assume it only caters to the local crowd and maybe through advance booking.

I had lunch here and it was located near to KIN (Kia India) plant. Also this place is under renovation. Hope after completing the work it will be the best place to enjoy our timings with some good memories.

Room cost is very high. For single person they are charging 4700/- and for family/couples it is 7000+/- This is not suitable for middle class people.
