We have visited before Dec-last week-24, Excellent stay and rooms are very well maintained . Very good location and pleasant atmosphere . I felt Resort atmosphere was awesome and calm weather. Tasty & quality food and good service during stay. management & staff were very cooperative.

First of all you have to remove your shoes before you enter the sanctum sanctorum, that too after climbing a few stairs. Very 19th century practice! The person at the reception doesn't greet the guests with a smile. Be that may, but, you have to pay for the facilities like water which is taken for granted at other hotels. The rooms are very old fashioned tho the balcoy does compensate a bit. Now I understand the importance of reviews, cos some of them are exactly the way we felt. Finally, we left the place without staying the night, as we were worried whether we will get our morning tea or not. The first rule of hospitality is that one greets the guests with a smile. Hope the management introspects and analyse why so many guests have commented that reception is not very receptive, as this would be a better resort if a few things are corrected.

Worst experience at the reception with a staff member right after we reached, which was disappointing and ruined 80% of our experience. We had to find a last-minute place to stay, as our initial accommodation was shabby, and Bansi had available rooms. Unlike what was mentioned in the response below, we were never denied entry because of our pets. We had a five-month-old cat and a pug, and we did not try to hide them. We walked them outside, where everyone could see. However, they were not allowed in the rooms since other guests might not be okay with it. Since we had no other choice, we had to keep them in our car overnight in the cold. We respect hotel policies, but the way the receptionist spoke to us was rude and unprofessional. She talked loudly while my husband and cousins were requesting for the pets patiently as if they forgot we were paying customers. A respectful and polite approach would have been much better. Also, no one from our side abused the staff, as they claimed in their response. Their cctv footage can prove what really happened. You can see there are other reviews mentioning the worst experience at the reception, too. Apart from this, the rest of the staff was friendly, and the outdoor areas were well maintained. However, the resort is quite far from Araku, and it takes at least 45 minutes to reach the main attractions. The rooms were okay for the price, but the power kept going off, which was inconvenient. Overall, while some parts of the resort were good, the bad experience at the reception and other issues made our stay less enjoyable.

One of the worst resorts(if you really want to say it resort) of my life. It's more like a jail with fixed timing of food and any other service you would expect. They didn't even provide food for our kids when asked 15 mins later than the breakfast time. I hope nobody has to go through the experience. We had to carry out luggage and even open the gate when we left. Please refrain from visiting if you care for your family.
