ALA BEACH RESORT

I recently stayed at ALA Resort in Ramapuram Beach from April 19th to April 20th with my family (2 adults and 2 kids), and I wanted to share our experience. Overall, our experience was average and I would like to highlight both the positives and areas for improvement: *Pros:* 1. All rooms provided a pool view, which was nice and didn't require any requests. 2. The swimming pool was impressive, lengthy, and well-maintained as no dust & waste found anywhere. 3. Common areas were clean and well-kept, with a good card system for room access. 4. The beds were comfortable and the linens were well-maintained. 5. Smart TVs and good Wi-Fi added to our convenience. 6. The washrooms were decent and equipped with western commodes. 7. Some villas offered a lovely sea view on the left side. 8. Breakfast was satisfactory with a variety of South Indian dishes available. 9. Adequate parking space was a plus, though it lacked any cover for the cars. *Cons:* 1. I found the room rent (Rs. 7400 for double occupancy) to be excessive. 2. The charge of Rs. 1000 for an extra bed seemed unjustified, especially since it was simply a 5-foot bed. 3. There appeared to be no staff near the pool to assist guests. 4. The guidelines around swimwear (nylon being mandatory) were not enforced as many visitors wore cotton and silk. 5. The reception team was not particularly friendly, lacking proactive communication regarding amenities. 6. Directions to the beach were not given at check-in which was disappointing, as the access route was not visible. 7. Although the reception staff watched us return from the beach, they did not offer any information about available showers or taps. 8. Communication regarding the extra bed was not provided proactively, which caused confusion. 9. The resort could use some improvement in landscaping compared to others we've visited. 10. The beach was quite a distance from the resort, with additional costs for dinner and campfire options. 11. Water pressure from the washbasin taps was inadequate. AC cooling is not effective 12. There were no towels provided in our room upon check-in, leading to a 30-minute wait for delivery. 13. Service delays were a significant concern during our stay. While we appreciated certain aspects of our stay, the overall experience did not meet our expectations--especially in comparison to our previous stays at the Sea Breeze Resort, where we felt more valued and satisfied. I would recommend considering improvements in service and transparency to enhance guest experiences in the future.

Excellent!!!! My kids loved the Jacuzzi experience. The swimming pool was well maintained, clean and bleached. What can improve: They need to add more items to the breakfast. There was no english breakfast like bread, butter and boiled eggs. Adding these would make the service experience 5 star

For ALA Beach Resort Management: I visited ALA Beach Resort for my family vacation this Apr'25. I've given 4 star rating. The reason being Breakfast Menu could've been improved. Complimentary doesn't meen the menu has to be the same. The Breakfast Menu could've been changed so that the guests could enjoy it as a complimentary. For others who check Reviews: The Lunch & Dinner Menu were Fabulous, Outstanding & Delicious. The service is really good. I would definitely suggest and have already suggested my colleagues to visit this resort. Please book this resort if you wanna enjoy a Luxurious stay & Delicious Food.

Resort and Rooms are good. But service is really bad. Food options were not there even though we asked before booking room. In-experienced staff. Swimming pool fountain got started after asking for 5-6 times, not sure why there we not starting. I will give 3/5 rating. Not worth the money we paid.

Amazing resort with top class facilities, the open function hall is amazing The mini function hall is good, but can only hold till 80-100 people There are 39 rooms in total, and all rooms are facing the centre towards the pool and this makes it the perfect resort if you want to plan big gatherings

Very near to beach.. watched sunrise by just walking 4 minutes...resprt pool is awesome... very well maintained...food service is little slow.. need to improve on that... hot showers and available whole Day.. overall a pleasant experience.. will visit again

Decent place. Very Hospitable staff. Good food and service. Overall value for money. Definitely can recommend any new comers to the place. Beach is just 5 min walk.

Worst experience ever. Booked jacuzzi room. The room which contains two double beds was quite small. Three jacuzzi when turned on , flushed out a lot of dirt, making it unfit. The staff didn't respond even when the tub was overflowing. This is just the tip of the iceberg.... The same night the ceiling of the balcony started leaking... And again NO RESPONSE!!! The food tastes great but not a good option for those who would prefer seafood in such a location. First thing, there's not much variety and if a dish exists in their menu, it takes an eternity to bring it on the table. The staff is utterly unqualified. Coming to the games section, the tt didn't have the bats, foosball entirely broken. Overall, I'd like to conclude by saying don't come here if u wish to have a peaceful holiday
