The Fern Residency, Kakinada

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The rooms are spacious & equipped with TV, AC, Wardrobe, Safe, etc. Personal toiletries items like soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc were also available. They also provide 1 Litre Water Bottle per day at no extra cost. The hotel also has inhouse restaurant which serves a variety of vegetarian/non-vegetarian dishes - quantity & quality of which is above par. Overall the hotel exceeded my expectations, I'll definitely recommend this hotel for business or holiday trip. I am very much obliged to mention that the hotel staff displayed extraordinary professionalism at all checkpoints i.e. reception, restaurant, housekeeping ,etc.

All are paid reviews. If you still need this place, go for it. Overall Place is huge. Mosquitoes will warm welcome you. Breakfast will be served cold. You must ask for warm food. Rooms require huge renovations. Not worth.

Upon arrival, I was informed by the reception staff at Fern Residency that there was no booking in my name and was directed to the opposite side. Assuming it was the other side of the same building, I later realized that I had been misdirected to the Hilife Hotel. Upon returning to Fern Residency's reception, the staff apologized for the mistake. However, I expressed my disappointment, emphasizing that such confusion was unacceptable. The room was found to be not properly maintained. Specifically, there were signs of seepage on the walls and ceiling, which were not adequately addressed or covered."

STRICTLY AVOID -DONT WASTE HARD EARNED MONEY I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel, especially considering the price of over 3000 per night. There was no hot water available throughout my stay, which was extremely inconvenient. Additionally, the room was infested with mosquitoes, making it impossible to relax. Despite raising these concerns, none of the issues were resolved. For the price charged, I expected much better facilities and service. Definitely not worth it.

Good hotel with large rooms, tennis court and a big swimming pool. Food was good and service was really good. Value for money and nice place to stay when you in Kakinada

Good, spacious n green resort for reunion, party, family gatherings mm marriage etc . One umbrella for all parties. The food is very tasty and healthy.

The hotel is centrally located. Unfortunately the management lost its interest in maintaining the hotel. The side panels in the corridors are falling ( guess some electrical lines are hidden behind). The room size is good.

I was in Kakinada for a religious visit with family; was very skeptical in booking at the outset looking at the reviews but booked it anyway. Surprisingly I found it to be very good. Rooms are large and spacious, separate dressing area with a full size mirror writing desk among others. It was a late check-in as our train was running very late yet the process was done in minimal time; our dinner was sent to our rooms which was a nice gesture. Breakfast spread is okay, whatever was served was good (nothing flamboyant) The hotel also has a gym and a swimming pool. Staff was co-operative particularly Mr. Vamsi.
