Svenska Design Hotel, Kakinada

Celebrated my first wedding anniversary at this beautiful 5-star hotel, arranged by my husband. They did beautiful decorations in the room with a nice heart shaped cake, making it a truly special experience for us. Staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. We ordered dinner in the room and thought it took time, but food was excellent. Breakfast was also nice. We enjoyed massage and the rooftop pool after that, with nice views of the Bay of Bengal. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend!

10yrs ago I had stayed at Svenska Design Hotel in Mumbai and had a very good experience. So when I found that they now have a hotel in Kakinada where I had to visit for an offshore technical survey project, I selected it over my regular choice GRT. I was not disappointed. In fact, Svenska Kakinada is far more luxurious than not just GRT Grand but even their own Svenska Mumbai. The rooms are HUGE. The facilities are impeccable. Fabulous rooftop swimming pool with a lovely deck for sun bathing. Excellent fitness facilities. They even have a gaming zone with lots of options to chill and enjoy. Took multiple massages at Club Svenska during my stay and really enjoyed them. They offer good quality and reasonably priced food & beverage. Highly recommend as its by far the best hotel that Kakinada has to offer.

Stayed a few times at this new hotel in Kakinada and never been disappointed. They have a fabulous property and excellent services at very low prices. Lots of options for resident guests to enjoy at the hotel -- spa, steam, pool, gym, gaming zone, bar, and nice rooftop restaurant. Their meeting spaces are also great with plenty of options depending upon the number of people. Rooms are huge and with all the facilities expected in a top class 5-star hotel. Well done to Svenska for providing the best hospitality in entire Kakinada, far exceeding their competition.

Superb food, very delicious buffet. We got 50% discount on special offer. Rooms also very nice and comfortable. Staff is too good. Visit this hotel for great experience. Will be back soon again. Well done and keep it up as Svenska has best hotel in entire East Godavari District!

This hotel charges 5 star and facility wise and food wise its the worst that you ever see in your life, never go with your family. They charge you for buffet breakfast but no buffet its al-carte and even the al-carte was horrible batter was rotten and breads where frozen for long period. They are repairing the room after check-in. A/C is off only when some one checks-in then only they will switch on the AC. No pacaged water they bring it from RO in glass bottles. I could not upload the fan sound because tripadvisor only allows photo uploads you can visit my google reviews too about my bad experience.

It's a chic and trendy hotel with stylish interiors and very spacious rooms. Located in industrial park overlooking green belt, the location is peaceful yet very close to key attractions of Kakinada like SRMT Mall and Beach. It was also very convenient for me as I had work at the SEZ at Vakalpudi, which is just 5mins from the hotel. It was a big relief not to have to go to old Kakinada town centre where all other hotels are located and which is crowded and adds another 20mins to daily commute each way. Food is also very delicious and reasonably priced at Sveska. They had a special 50% discount running on their buffet when I stayed and it was great value for money.

Beautiful hotel with excellent services. Food in restaurant very nice. Swimming pool on rooftop superb. Gym also excellent. Staff is good. Nothing to complain about. Good price also. Much better than other Kakinada hotels. Will be back soon.

We recently celebrated our child's 1st birthday at Svenska Design Hotel in Kakinada, and overall, it was a great experience! The banquet hall is one of the biggest in the city, offering a fantastic ambiance for special occasions. The food was good, and the entire event was well-managed by the hotel staff. A special thanks to Mr. Durga Prasad for his prompt responses and continuous support, ensuring a smooth event. However, the decoration vendor, Mr. Ramalingam and Mr. Vamsi, was a complete letdown and the only downside to an otherwise well-organized celebration. Additionally, the pricing is slightly higher compared to competitors, but the banquet hall and ambiance make up for it. If the hotel replaces this vendor with a better one, I would highly recommend this venue.
