MOON RESORT

Best stay in Gandikota with all facilities available. It is just 200 metres to the Grand canyon and fort. They have cottage type stay and also camping. Our stay there was just amazing. We opted for cottage stay which had AC and other all facilities available. They had arranged bonfire for us, which just added cherry to the cake. Host is very helpful and the staffs are very nice. They will arrange everything you ask for. Siva is the best host.

A great place to stay. Super accommodation, good service. Very nice location, walkable distance to the fort, shops, hotels etc., Beautifully decorated. If they wish they can give concession to the senior citizen.

We stayed in this resort on 24-25 of August, rooms are clean and neat with AC and Fan facility but with some minor faults with the rooms. Food quality is not so good but ok, we are offered a bonfire at night. Less crowded with good air flow surrounding . The next morning food was arranged somewhere outside by the owner which I didn't like. You may like the stay, it is worth the money of 1,500 per person. If you are booking, please verify everything with the owner

Gandikota is a very small place. Everything is 1 -2 km distant to reach any place, as also this resort. Food is given packed from a near by hotel which comes in the package with breakfast tea snacks and dinner of Rs. 1500/- per person with sharing a room and Rs. 2000/- per person with single occupancy. Tea/ coffee was always served in the smallest ever paper cups you can get with very less quantity. Beds are big in size and spacious in the big rooms and Queen beds in the small cottages which is very small.

Worst expirence ever..they book the room first n later they ask us to take a different room or cancel it, due to unavailability of rooms rooms n hotel premises were not clean .. breakfast was not arranged in the resort they ask us to go to a tiny roadside hotel where there is shortage of food N no proper veg food was served

Located very near to the Gandikota fort and canyon. Room was clean and compared to other resorts this one has some open place with trees and one swing. Breakfast was complimentary.

We were a group of 13 people (aged around 60 years) from Bangalore who stayed for 2 days in the resort between 29th -31st Jan 2024 and my feelings on the experience is expressed below. Moon Resort is very good clean and comfortable place to stay in Gandikota. The rooms are basic but quite spacious and the toilets are spic and span. The owner Mr. Sivaram is very pleasing well mannered and cultured person. He is most helpful and very good host. He arranged for the boat ride, provided a guide to take us around the gorge and gave useful tips. The property is cleanly maintained. The breakfast and dinner arranged were very tasty, hygienic and served hot. Overall it was a great time that the team had at Gandikota.

The rooms are well-maintained, making this the best place to stay for both families and bachelors. The caretaker, Suresh, is very helpful.
