HOTEL KUMBHAKARNA

Good Hotel, we have visited this Hotel multiple times, but now looks like they are losing their credibility. We have informed about washroom issue but no action was taken, Same with OTT access, no netflix/amazon or not even TV channels provided for the price that we have paid for.

Everything was good except for one thing and that is the pesky receptionist. He was downright annoying. He called us multiple times just to tell us that the check-out time was 12 noon.

Very bad service!!! The people do not have work ethics at all. The rooms are also not clean. Very very bad behavior!! Please never visit this hotel!!

This hotel has a unique vibes as they give Netflix and other connections instead of just TV connection! The rooms and bathrooms are super clean and well maintained and I wouldn't complain about it! The service by the housekeeping staff and excellent and he was quite helpful and very prompt and was ready to do anything to keep me happy! He was always helpful when in need and patient too. Overall my experience was good and below are the pros and cons of my stay in the hotel Pros: 1. The idea to have Netflix and internet TV connection what's the unique and innovative idea and should definitely be loved by many customers. 2. Super clean rooms and highly comfortable stay for this kind of hotel with reasonably good amenities. 3. Services were prompt and very good and always helpful whether it is food or amenities or laundry service. 4. Easier access to bus stand and also other business areas. Cons: 1. The hotel does not have its own restaurant so room service is not available in the hotel but the service staff will get it from the restaurant downstairs and will be ready to help anytime needed. But it won't be charged to the hotel and you need to pay the service staff. 2. The stay comes along with a free breakfast but there's no buffet or varieties - breakfast will be bought by the service staff from a nearby restaurant. The issue I faced was the calling Bell rang 8 a.m. in the morning for breakfast delivery while I was sleeping that time and got disturbed. The next day I told them not to ring the bell but I will call them to deliver breakfast. 3. I wouldn't say this is that much suitable for a business traveller as there is no proper workdesk in the room but the service staff for helpful enough to bring a chair and make me comfortable. 4. Mostly the hotel staff speak only Telugu and Hindi and not English so you need to adjust if you don't know both the languages! Overall had a great experience staying here and I wouldn't mind staying again!

Too expensive Choose oyo which will be much better option

Really nice experience the rooms are well maintained and the response of staff is really good worth the amount spent. The rooms are very clean and everything including dental kit is provided.Anybody comes to Guntur on any visit best place to stay and it is on koretapadu main road.

Room was clean. but the bed linens could have been better. There is no parking place, you need to park your car on road and they don't have even security to check. We have to checkout early, breakfast is served at 8.30AM which should start by 7AM. We have booked a room for 3. While they provide only one water bottle and others charged... Thank you

The rooms were clean and the management was very friendly. The cost of the room was less compared to other rooms in the locality. Every room had access to Netflix, Amazon prime and wifi speed was good. Each room had locker facility also which was very helpful. Complementary breakfast was nice. Had a pleasant experience. Highly recommended.
