Cheaters. It's too expensive, and you must pay the full amount before check-in. They don't care once you're in. No hot water, no drinking water, no housekeeping, and no clean blankets. Rude front desk, but local workers have tried to help within their limitations. Don't waste your valuable time here. Our mistake was not verifying the reviews, and we paid for that oversight.

We checked in here on 18.12.2017 at 1.30 pm. It was the worst hotel we had came across in our entire trip to Araku . At the beginning hotel stuffs maintained friendly behavior. When they took us to our rooms we were speechless. Since, we were 7 people we had booked 3 rooms. Only one out of 3 room was in kind of good shape rest were not. When we opened the cupboard to keep our luggage we found there were empty alcohol bottle and glasses were kept. Rooms were not even fit to take any bookings as the whole building was out of maintenance for a very long period of time. No tv in fact the desks were broken. balcony doors were sealed from outside. not sure why. Third room had some leakage from the bathroom. Room floors were overflowing. Now, the story doesn't end here. The basic amenities like electricity, water supply, tea, drinking water, hot water nothing were available. We were completely clue less what do to do as nothing was there. At first, we politely asked them that there is no water supply in bathroom told us to go the other side of the hotel to use the bathroom temporarily. Which was extremely inconvenient cause we had done a long journey plus we had to drag all our stuffs back and forth. Next thing we asked for drinking water they showed us empty jars. We were forced to purchase packaged water. At night we noticed that the rooms are not adequately lit and also there was a power failure several times in the evening. It's obvious thing to guess that they don't have emergency back-up generator. On top of that in spite of asking them rapidly for candles they didn't show up. All the blankets were torned up in half and bed sheets had blood stains. Toilets were broken. Since we made bookings for 3 rooms. At night our allotted rooms were given to some other family in the middle of the night. Here I would like to mention if you don't know Telegu then you are in a big trouble. At the beginning they might try to understand you with the mix of sign language and hindi, English. Later they will ignore you up front. Plus, they will try to take advantage of that situation and make chaos. We started to shout and made some calls to our tour operator. Finally we got in touch with the manager and also took help from our local driver. We had to latterly force them out of your room. Next morning we asked for tea they replied that they don't have milk. We had to take a walk in that shivering cold morning to buy tea. It was a complete nightmare. I highly recommend not to make any bookings and specially if you are going with your family. It will become a trauma. If you had already made your bookings here cancel it immediately. There are many other well maintained resorts are out there around this place which are far better then this. If travel agent gives you an excuse that there is a peak season and hard to find rooms here also forces you to stay here for a night then it's a clear indication he is trying to make profits by putting you in a trouble. Just don't ever go here and stay. Even if you had made your reservation online then the chances are they might decline your booking by saying they have not received any confirmation or what so ever. I will highly recommend not to make any bookings to stay here.it doesn't even deserve a single star.

Th e place stoked like hell I complained them but they have not taken any action. I had to call some other people to clean the room and spray the room freshener. I suggest not to select this place for the stay as it's not hygienic and it stinks with pungent smell. You can't even sleep due to that pungent smell.

Sun N Shine Resort is at Beging of the Araku Valley when you come from Vizag. Very Decent and Clean.. Rooms are Very Spacious. But Limited Facilities. In my room TV is there But Setup Box not available (Came to visit Places, not to watch the TV by sitting in room, but u can expect). Rooms available A/C and with out A/C only.. Bath Rooms are Enough Spacious. Staff Boys are Good.

Not a great place to stay. Pricy for the kind of service provided. Room had a foul smell due to rainy season, hot water heater was not working. Rooms were badly maintained

Sun N Shine is a good place to stay, it has both AC and non AC rooms, it is spaces, good view from AC rooms, it is just outskirts of Araku valley, though it dont have restarent , they do give good room service, clean and neat rooms, they do arrange campfire and dhimsa dance on request and they charge for it, has sufficient parking

I do not recommend this hotel. Worst staff, worst rooms, no hot water facility inside rooms, no telephone to call the reception, AC not working fine, only positive point abt this hotel is its location. It is located outside Araku, away from the crowd.

This place is horrible as they don't have proper electricity backup nor they have people who take care of the the guests. Also all the rooms were dusty and to top it all they didn't provided us with proper mattresses.
