New Thanu Resorts

I planned to visit Araku with family. Found this resorts phone number online and called on Dec 24, 2024 for room availability,after discussion I booked two rooms and paid 3000/- as advance. On the immediate day due to some emergency we cancelled trip same informed to resort they agreed to refund entire advance amount. I called multiple times but no use. after some days they said we will refund advance amount by deducting cancellation charges.I agreed for that as well but no use they are telling stories everytime not sending my money back. Since yesterday not answering my calls. Still now I have a hope that they will return my money back that is the reason waited for more than one month but no use. I am not asking their money or property I am asking my money which needs to me returned. If they are not standing on their promised words how the customers will satisfy with their services? Such a worst experience attaching whatsapp chat and call log don't trust the people which are not standing on their own words. If you people really stick on your own words then send my money back and reply to this review by attaching payment snip.

SCAM ALERT !!!!! Beware of Aunty/the lady who picks up the call I have been to many offbeat locations during travel but didn't see a place like this ever where people are cheating upfront without a hint of shame on their face. I wish i had a negative review option coz this place is not worth a single star also. A detailed insight about our recent stay in "New Thanu Resort" on 23rd Nov, 2024 - - Too pricy, We were charged triple of what a single room like this deserves - 3.5K for one night with just a room with bed and no complimentary breakfast or any facilities. Please read below for more details - Room was in a very bad condition full of cracks & damp walls even if they claim it to be a new property. - The room just has a bed, table, wardrobe and a TV without a dish/WIFI connection was provided so we can say its just for show. - No side table/chairs/mat in the room - No basic room amenities also like electric kettle for hot water (in the spine chilling cold weather), complimentary water bottles (they will charge you for water bottles also) - No complimentary toiletries - no soap, shampoo, toothpaste, bath towels, (probably visitors are supposed to bring along with them), defective jet spray/geyser not in a proper working condition, washroom exhaust fan was put inside out so instead of getting all the foul smell out you of your washroom + room you will end up having a room full of foul smell - You will have to be back of them requesting multiple times for extra pillows/blankets/water bottles/hot water etc, no sense of responsibility - After all the amazing facilities, they even charge you for bonfire and give hardly 10 wet sticks for 500 rupees - Very few food options available as its in the middle of a jungle/forest and Dinner provided was below average that too in paper plates???? and they claim it to be a RESORT!! Although we saw another group of people living beside our rooms getting proper utensils for food and better facility so looks like they clearly do not serve equally to everyone and are very much aware of how to cheat people. Would NOT suggest anyone to book this property in their lifetime and they also have another resort named "Thanu resort" which is the old property. You can imagine how it would be if the new one is like this

Its a very good resort the rooms are neat and clean. And with all the required amenities.And food was also good.Owners are so friendly.

Its a good resort with good ambiance and food was good.The owners are also friendly and very cooperative.Aunty arranges all the arrangements as per our requirement.

Awesome resort to visit with family and friends don't depend on fake reviews posted it is a good resort. I suggest you to visit the resort.

The over all resort is good and the view is amazing and the food is awesome owners are so cooperative.

Overall ambiance and the place is good. Owners are customer friendly and i am very much satisfied with overall service they provided.
