The best thing about this hotel is that they are very responsive. I raised a minor issue with the management and they immediately addressed it. The food it's really good. The cafe downstairs has excellent coffee and breakfast, and at the bar, Upendra at Swizzle, makes a an excellent mocktail! Rupayan and Upendra make a great team, made me feel at home so much so I spent 4 hours reading a book and enjoying a brilliant view and amazing food and drink. At the restaurant, Mr. Joy Kutty was particularly responsible for elevating my stay to even greater heights. The breakfast is simply tremendous, with freshly made masala omlettes and dosas (on two separate days), a wide and delicious selection of Indian and Continental breakfast items, and all garnished with the beautiful bay view. I recommend selecting the 'with breakfast' option, but stop here anytime for delicious food. Thanks to the food and beverage team (and excellent and responsive upper management) even a rainy evening in Port Blair became a great experience. I recommend staying here, but pick the bay view rooms for the perfect experience.

We stayed at the ITC Hotel in Port Blair for one night and had a wonderful experience. The highlight of our stay was the amazing view of the sea - truly breathtaking and relaxing.||||The food quality was very good overall. We had the buffet dinner, which offered a nice variety and tasted great. The breakfast buffet could use a bit more variety, but it was still decent.||||Service throughout our stay was excellent. A special shoutout to Pratima from the restaurant, who was prompt, courteous, and helped us choose some great options for lunch. Kudos to her for the fantastic service!||||The property also features a gym and a pool, which are great additions for guests looking to relax or stay active.||||Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Port Blair!

Our stay at ITC Welcomhotel Bay Island, Port Blair was a mix of stunning views, great service, and a relaxing island vibe. While the property shows its age, the overall experience was memorable, thanks to the excellent staff and serene ambiance. That said the price is high and we would have given 3 stars but are giving an extra start for allowing us to check in early, which was a huge huge relief. What we loved: Spectacular sea views - The hotel offers breathtaking views of the Bay of Bengal, especially from the rooms with balconies. Early check-in - Our flight landed early, and the hotel allowed early check-in, which was a huge relief. Great food & dining experience - We enjoyed a delicious seafood platter, and the restaurant was pleasant to sit in, thanks to the constant sea breeze. Warm & courteous staff - The hospitality was excellent, with polite and helpful staff making our stay comfortable. Peaceful ambiance Areas for improvement: Aging property - The hotel is old and in need of maintenance in some areas. Not great value for money - Given the premium pricing, the property could use upgrades to justify the cost.

Stay is good. Great location, and amazing views, probably the best in Port Blair. But the food is very average, with less variety, and often not fresh. The restaurant staffs were not friendly. After the hours they took to serve our order on day 1 we decided to go and eat at a nearby restaurant during rest of our stay. The restaurant staffs would benefit from a training on how to be courteous and polite. They even ask us to pick things ourselves and when ordering food, they respond it will take time during the breakfast hour, instead of taking the order and trying to get the order ready. The restaurant is severely understaffed, very evident during breakfast time, there is no one to even seat us. There is barely anyone to even place the live counter orders. Overall don't rely on this restaurant if you're choosing to stay here.

I stayed at this hotel recently and had a mixed experience.||||What I loved:||||Location: Perfectly located with easy access to local attractions.||||Sea View: The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking--definitely one of the highlights of my stay.||||Cleanliness & Maintenance: Rooms and common areas were spotless and very well maintained.||||Staff: Courteous, helpful, and professional throughout the stay.||||||What could be better:||||Food: This was the biggest downside. The food was very expensive and lacked flavor. For the price, the taste and quality were disappointing.||||||Overall: If you're looking for a clean, well-located hotel with great service and a stunning sea view, this is a solid option. But if good food is important to you, you might want to explore nearby restaurants instead.

I simply loved this best ocean view hotel. Ambience, friendly stuff, food, housekeeping everything seems so perfect. I remember Sangita, Joy Kutti, Upadhay all are really nice. I forgot others name but reception guys are also helpful.We booked ocean view room for 3 adults. Later they provided extra bed. Highly recommended this property.

Stayed at Welcome by ITC Hotels in Andaman Nicobar Islands and had an incredible experience. The beach-facing rooms offered stunning views, and the private beach was serene. The pool was refreshing, and the food--especially breakfast and dinner--was rich in taste and variety. Service throughout our stay was top-notch.
