The Tamarind Tree Hotel & Restaurant

A very good option for accomodation in decent price in Port Blair. The rooms are well equipped with basic amenities, the sea-view room is also equally good. If opting for sea-view room try to get one in 2nd floor. The hospitality service is nice. The complimentary breakfast and other food items were good in taste also. You can enjoy a wide view of the city and a portion of Andaman sea from the rooftop restaurant. The only negative thing is lack of big space in front of the hotel. As a result, when car comes to pick up or drop, you have to rush a bit otherwise mild traffic congestion happens in the road.

Tamarind tree hotel is very near to Airport that helped us to save time during departure and spent more in Andaman tour. We got a sea facing room. Dining place is great with the Sea view and lot of fresh air. The food is cooked fresh,tasty and awesome. While traveling towards Tamarind tree hotel, we had the bird,s eye view of the Airport runaway. The hotel is very neat and clean and staffs are very cooperative n nice.

Very good Rooms, Very good arrangements for vehicles and ferry/cruise arrangements during peak seasons by Mr (Ghosh owner). Food is also good tasty. Lift is going to install at hotel. Budget friendly Rent. See view rooms available. Near to Airport & other Jetty. I will recommend to every one with budgeted price. Extra beds available for children.

This hotel was one of the best fabulous hotel in my traveling journey.the rooms had every thing perfect and proper.tv was working perfectly,ac was also working and the food is the like 5 star restraunt and the food was delicious and was on time.we didn't felt like we are in a hotel this hotel is like our home.the manager-Mr. digendra ji was also so kind and the behaviour of him was so good.

Awesome people, mind-blowing food and services. homely atmosphere. The scenic view was marvelous . Stayed there 4 nights with family. I highly recommend this. Moreover the proprietor Debabrata Ghosh da is so friendly and always answered all the queries with big smile .

From the point view of comparative assessment, Tamarind Tree cannot be placed in high rank category. But the hospitality, patience, food quality and service of staff covered minor loopholes. Provisions of better infrastructure exists and I am sure the sincerity of the staff will make it in near future.
