Sea View Andaman

Stay was really good and we enjoyed it a lot. Rooms were clean and neat. Food was good. Overall ambiance was great. It is in close to city center as well. I would definitely recommend a stay in this property. Do your research as well and then book accordingly.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sea View Andaman Hotel in Port Blair, during my visit in 2019, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The location of the hotel is truly breathtaking, offering panoramic views of the Andaman Sea. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying a cup of coffee while overlooking the sea was a highlight of my stay. The rooms were not only well-appointed but also impeccably clean, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features of Sea View Andaman Hotel is the delicious and diverse cuisine offered at their in-house restaurant. The culinary experience was exceptional, with a wide range of dishes that catered to various tastes. The freshness of the ingredients and the culinary expertise of the chefs truly elevated my dining experience. In retrospect, my stay at Sea View Andaman Hotel was nothing short of fantastic, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. My sincere thanks to the entire team for making my visit so special.

Sea View Andaman is rather a new property and is located very near to the shore. The best part about the hotel is its location, you get a clean broad view of the sea from your room window (if you opt for their super deluxe room). North Bay island and its famous lighthouse is clearly visible from the hotel. The hotel rooms are small but are kept clean and tidy. ||Hotel owner Mr. Salim is a cooperative guy and will help you ordering food from the nearby restaurants since the hotel doesn't have a fully operating restaurant as of now. You will get nice breakfast, but for lunch, dinner or snacks, you need to order from outside. The market, Rajiv Gandhi water sports complex and cellular jail are not very far from the hotel and you can take a stroll down the sea shore pavement to reach them.||Few issues though, the hotel has some privacy concerns as there are no individual balconies in the rooms. Even if you take their super deluxe room, the windows are located right on the common gallery and passers-by/other guests will keep showing on your windows which I found a little irritating. The hotel staff, though very cooperative and friendly, needs to be trained to be more professional; like while arriving at a room for any service, they should not peek through the window to declare their presence but use the doorbell provided for the purpose. Packaged drinking water is available only on paid basis and they only provide RO filled bottles as room service. WiFi is available but has intermittent connectivity. ||Overall, it was a nice stay and there's definitely room for improvement.

I stayed here for 3 nights .... amazing place , peacefull and also the behaviour of staffs is very friendly .......The owner of this hotel Mr. Sahil is a great man....he treated me as a family member ......I enjoyed it ....The rooms are net and clean

Only location is good. The manager can make your stay hell. To better the experience they should get a better manager to handle the property. Manager creates more ruckus than other guests and then he blames it on his last times experience with bad guests. He thinks his place is outside India and has his own set of rules that you haven't heard anywhere else.

Most of us write reviews on the location, amenities provided, the size of the rooms, food, service and the behavior of the staff which I found to be excellent. The sea view rooms are well appointed with all amenities that a traveler would want. The location is excellent with view of the light house in North Bay and the wide open sea. You can sit all day in the balcony and watch the ships and fishing vessels entering and leaving the harbor. But what sets Sea View Andaman apart from the other hotels is the service that was extended to us during our stay. The owner, Mr. Salim Khan is an excellent host and I was touched by the gesture that he showed us when my dad fell ill. He not only took us to the doctor in his own car but stayed with us all throughout. He took care of all that we requested during our stay with a smile. Thank You Mr. Khan for making our stay such a lovely experience.

Mr Salim Khan and family run small guest House hotel with 7 rooms out of which 4 are sea view rooms. Small rooms and small bathrooms but clean. Good air-conditioning in rooms. No restaurant but food is arranged from outside. Staff mainly of underage boys but courteous ones - but noisy when they are working they keep singing!! While breakfast is being served the music is put so loud that you've to literally ask them to lower it. Over all good people and good location. It's on the second floor and there is no elevator. Online price is higher than prices he offers to walk-ins or direct bookings!

The owner is very nice so is his son. A girl working there was 'okay'. Very local breakfast.||Clean rooms, wifi connexion. View over the ocean which is pleasant. Good stay at this place we'd recommend. You can enjoy a walk along the sea. The owner made us discover a part of the island which is far from tourists spots (thank you !) and we went through a thick impressive forest before arriving at a beach just like those we got to experience many years ago. He also made a very kind rickshaw driver come to pick us up. That man was lovely. ||||The owner of the hotel sea view made a good place to stay.
