Kokari Guest House B&B

Most amazing place to stay at Port Blair. Its a home away from home. Worth the money for its location, amenities and excellent service. Sparkling clean, spacious rooms and bath. All amenities at your reach. Its more like a homestay and self service kind of place. Overlooks the Ross and North Bay Islands.

1) Excellent Location: It is right on the main road, so easy to catch public transport like auto rickshaws. It is just 10 - 15 minutes from the airport; 5- 10 minutes from the cellular jail; 2 minutes from the Haddo jetty (to catch the ferry to Havelock island); 10 minutes from the Samudrika and Anthropology museum. There is also a small daily needs shop, one minutes walking distance.||2) Beautiful views: Since it is on the second floor and sea facing, it has breathtaking views from the balcony and some of the rooms. Perfect place to relax and unwind while looking at the blue sea.||3) Very clean: The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, with fresh sheets, fresh towels, etc||4) Size: The rooms were a good size with ample space to walk around. The bathrooms were quite large, which is a bonus.||5) Air-conditioner: The air-conditioners cooled the room even in the hottest months.||6) Staff: The manager, David was very friendly and helpful.

The guest house is sea facing. It's close to the port or the jetty and not that far from the airport. The rooms were clean and spacious with all the basic amenities. We stayed in a room with three single beds which was decent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The balcony facing the sea is an added advantage, wherein you can enjoy the sunrise and the sunset while sipping your tea or coffee.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel on our recent vacation in Port Blair, Andaman. We were a little hesitant when we booked this hotel as it is classified as Guest House/BB. But we chose this place because of the location and we were not disappointed. The view of the sea from the room is breath-taking especially at the time of sun-rise. The room is neat and clean with a huge wash room attacched. Other facilities are a huge sea facing balcony where one can sit and relax. There is also a common hall cum dining room with some interesting collection of books to read. Mr. Pradip the owner was very helpfull and knowledgable. Also the Chef Mr. Deepak dished out tasty food. The only drawback is that the rooms are located on 2nd/3rd floor and there is no elevator facility. But we did not mind this little inconvinience as we really had a 5 star expirience.

If you want to have a breath taking view of the sea right from your terrace in Port Blair, this guest house will be a very good choice. The rooms are very clean and the bathroom is really spacious. The wadrobe provided was also very spacious and had more than sufficent hangers for hanging our clothes. The staffs were all very well-mannered and very helpful. We just loved our 5-day stay at this guest house.

Kokari guest house was a choice for my friends and I based on the suggestion of an avid traveller. We had a wonderful 2 day stay. Joel, Shaheb and all the other staff were exceptionally nice, polite and very welcoming. They were very professional, but also friendly. They suggested places to go a visit, gave us important information about timings, ferry bookings, went the extra mile to help book autos / cabs and even allow us to use their reception computer to make payments and other bookings. ||The view from Kokari Guest house is spectacular! Overlooking the vast water, the balcony has the most stunning sunrise views! This place is a great choice for solo travellers, friends or families!

Spacious rooms with lots of light. Bathrooms are large, clean and well kept with basic toiletries provided. The star of this place is undoubtedly the view. Deluxe rooms have set of French doors opening up to a large balcony while the standard rooms have to use the common area to access it. Both have similar views regardless.

Kokari Guest House was the first Guest House stay for me. So I was little hesitant while booking it. But after having experienced the place, I was happy that my decision paid off.||We booked the sea facing rooms. The view of the Harbour and the Sea was so good! For most of the time we were in the hotel, we ended up sitting in the balcony, and soaking the views. ||The service and the food were good and the staff was pretty friendly and more than happy to guide us with our itinerary. ||Keep the up the good work!
