Kanchan's Nest Homestay

Absolutely amazing place. Well maintained, very clean. Amazing hospitality. I felt a very good energy being there. Thank you so much for hosting. Easy to reach with car or other transport. Even though little up the hill, you are surrounded by greenery. They helped me with the luggage to the airport absolutely great.

Booked the place on the last leg of our trip and was completely blown away by the hospitality of the property. The place is situated right close to the airport exit gate and after walking (it has a steep walk path) you enter the property which gives you such a wholesome welcoming vibe that you don't want to leave the place. The property has a great view to the night sky, open lush green, and the moon view is breathtaking. The distance to local places to get by is also easily accessible and you can easily plan the day depending on your mood and energy level. A comfortable place with amenities including Wi-Fi, hot water, drinking water, food, bike or car on rent are also available. The staff here are extremely good and take care of your needs such as arranging breakfast or even cooking you lunch and dinner.

We stayed at Kanchan's Nest Homestay for two days and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were exceptionally neat and clean. The homestay is conveniently located just 300 meters from Veer Savarkar International Airport. We would also like to express our gratitude to Mr. Vidhan, the caretaker of the property. He took great care of us and, without any hesitation, dropped us off at the airport in his vehicle at around 4:30 AM to catch our early morning flight. We sincerely appreciate his kindness and assistance.

This building is a house convert into rooms. Good thing is it's close to airport. The street is very dark in the night so it does not feel safe to walk outside this place with the family. Only one room in the trace is decent, other room we stayed was not good enough, It could hardly fit an extra bed. If you are traveling with family I would not suggest this place. Other important thing is you will be asked to checkout by 8 or 9 am in the morning irrespective of your flight timings or other plans. No complementary breakfast was mentioned in advance however, if you need dinner you should inform them before 5pm.

Overall stay is good, very clean and person working there was very good. In terms of distance to airport it's around 150 metres. But there is a very steep slope that you have to climb, The whole 140-150 metre is a steep slope. To make the situation worse, at night it's really dark on the street with little light. There are also a lot of stray dogs in the area, which make the area unsafe. They see strangers and bark furiously at them. We had to wait for some local to come to get to the place every time to stray dog menace

The property is 7 mins walk from the airport which makes super convenient. The rooms and the whole property is super clean. Spotless clean!! 10/10 there! The caretaker is amazing and very helpful. Amazing service and stay overall!

Property very close to the airport with good rooms particularly the terrace one which we had booked. Staff very cooperative. My overall experience is very good.

It's close to the airport, the food is great but you have to let them know early. The rooms are decent. Check out time is strictly enforced irrespective of what your plans may be and is not flexible. There is a chance they'll refuse to cook dinner if they're busy. I mean it happened to me and considering it's basically on top of a hill, you'll face some issues getting dinner since you have to get back down the hill where you can find human civilisation (it feels like it's at the edge of civilisation). The road to get there is extremely steep, and I wouldn't recommend it, if you're travelling with old people or just people with mobility issues in general. Going for a night walk doesn't feel safe considering how the street is lit.
