Hotel Islander Inn

We didn't find our stay at the hotel very pleasant unfortunately. We stayed in rooms 201 and 101. While 201 was still okay, 101 was a nightmare. The rooms and bathrooms are in dire need of maintenance. The basin tap, the ac in room 101 makes frightening noises too. The dining area on the rooftop was absolutely not maintained when we visited in October. The only saving grace is the location. It's quite near to the Cellular Jail as well as the airport.

Worst hotel ever. Don't go in there. Unresponsive reception. Bad stale food. You cant control ac temp. Locks don't work properly. Also, this is NOT AT ALL a 3 star hotel. Please don't come here.

It takes hardly 15 mins from the airport. 3 floors with lifts. The restaurant is on the 4th floor. Buffet spread for all meals. The food is okayish but the staff is very courteous. Tea and snacks are also served here, not in the rooms below. The rooms are also quite well maintained and clean. We had booked 4 rooms and all were on the same floor. The bathroom has geyser. It needs a shelf for towel and clothes. The lobby/waiting area on the ground floor can better in terms of how it looks. There is a general store right beside it and a few eateries and tea stalls nearby. Autos are available for hire right outside. Breakfast is usually served around 8.30 pm and dinner around 8.30 pm.

Disappointing Stay , Avoid This Hotel I made the mistake of not checking reviews before booking this hotel. The towels provided were unclean,the room was dirty, and the bathroom was in a terrible condition. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of attention to hygiene and customer satisfaction is unacceptable. If you're looking for a decent place to stay, keep looking.

They gave us room by waiting almost 1.5 hrs after official checked in time which is 09:30 AM instead of 08:00 AM. We faced issues on days 07/03/2025 and 08/03/2025 1. A/C temparature fixed at 27 degree celcius and also A/C fan can't operated except full speed 2. Fan Can't used on speed 1 and 2 3. Power sockets are not usefull as required some cello tape to keep the phone chargers at perticular place to charge phones otherwise charging stops All the points are very well conveyed to reception person but he said aise charger adjust krke chala lo. Unfortunately MMJ had booked same hotel for our 12-13-14 March 2025 stay. So, On 12/03/2025 we checked in room no. 308 then noticed no hand jet in washroom, broken and not working washroom door lock. We changed the room after 2-3 hrs to room no. 305 then on 13/05/2025 we supposed to left at 06:30 AM so around 05:00 AM in the morning we found that geyser wasn't working we called hotel manager directly this time he said aap 308 me naha lo waha ka geyser chalu hai then we asked whether hand jet and washroom door lock was repaired or not. Then after 20 mins he called and said aap 301 me naha lo. When we went to 301 we also noticed that not a single point were rectified which were raised by us on 07/03/2025. They behaviour showing a mind set like ye bolke chale gaye next wale ko same bata do abhi maintenance nai hua hai. Aur fir kaun roj roj aane wala hai. For room no. 308 geyser issue there was power on but no heating which clearly seen by power on light on geyser but he argued that switch kharab hai so power nai aa raha. Like we are not new to use such facilities. Atleast try to understand the problem and then argue. Don't try to act and fool customers like they know nothing. The same problems were also reviewed by many different customers. They just don't mentioned the room no. I mentioned so if anyone face the same issue they can asked hotel that it's not recent issue and can be saved by manipulation of hotel staff.

I have stayed there in the Ist week of Feb, 2025 with family for 02 days ( ist day and last day of 06 day visit) Rooms of this hotel are not satisfactory, no towel , no, doormat even at bathroom, no AC remote., no intercome even not a tumbler for drinking water. you have to ask everything especially from your mobile from reception. The bathrooms were untidy and stinky , celling of the bathroom is very bad. some service boy are not good. Overall a very poor experience. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

opposite to the mosque. make sure you will get the morning alarm at fazar namaz. quality of the room is very bad. lots of mosquitoes. no maintenance at all. Cheap oiyo type hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Both the rooms and bathrooms were in urgent need of maintenance. The towels were dirty, the room unhygienic, water continuously leaked from the faucet, and the rooftop dining area was poorly maintained. Furthermore, they provided a plastic water bottle as a complimentary item, but the seal was already broken when we attempted to use it. Upon inquiry, the receptionist explained that they refill the bottle after cleaning it every alternate day. It's a single use plastic bottle only. At the very least, a glass pitcher should have been provided. The lifts frequently stopped midway due to power cuts, and food was delivered to our room without plates. This hotel is filthy, smelly, and overall horrible. Any positive reviews are likely fake, so be cautious, especially when booking through Umang travel agents. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of cleanliness and disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable. One of the worst experiences we've had. Please avoid this hotel at all costs.
