Grand Oceanus Resort

Food Quality: The food served at the resort was one of the highlights of my stay. It had a homely taste, and the variety was good. The dishes were flavorful and satisfying, perfect for anyone looking for a comforting meal. Scenic Beauty: The resort is situated in a beautiful location, offering great views of the beach and surrounding nature. It's a picturesque place to unwind and enjoy the serene beauty of the island. However, while the views were stunning, the overall cleanliness of the area did not match the natural beauty. There seemed to be a lack of attention to detail in maintaining the cleanliness of the room bathrooms and resort grounds. Insects and lizards are common in the living room. Maintenance: Unfortunately, the maintenance of the resort left a lot to be desired. Some of the facilities seemed outdated or in need of repair. The upkeep of room bathrooms, geyser, common areas, particularly around the beach, was not up to the mark, which detracted from the overall experience. In summary, while the resort offers a beautiful setting and homestyle food, the maintenance and cleanliness could certainly be improved. For those seeking a relaxed stay in a lovely location, it can be a good choice, but don't expect top-notch upkeep.

The location is at the other corner from the jetty area. But it was nice peaceful and great view of sea from the resort. The food was also good but the only problem was that the staff was too less. So if u ordered food it would take a lot of time to get your order. Rooms were ok types and not too good. Resort needed maintenance.

Excellent location, excellent staff and also good food . Everything is excellent in this resort. The resort is located near sea. I stayed two night in this resort with family . It was a very pleasant stay in this resort. My kids enjoyed a lot.

The location is really nice with a good sea view. The rooms were clean and good. It's a little far from most of the places in Portblair except Chidiya tapu. The only thing I didn't like is the restaurant service. There is no buffet for breakfast, you have to let them know what to eat from a limited option they have. Overall it's good but overpriced for the service.

Very bad experience staying here .... Terribly inder-staffed -- around 4 staffs doing everything A few staff members were rude and unhelpful..... Service was the worst .... Rooms are not at all well maintained-- rather minimum maintenance Food was ok, not great and not bad .... The only positive aspect is the view .....spectacular location I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit the property.....

3rd class rooms , not worth the price there are cockroaches in the washroom , no wifi in the room cheap quality beddings, wondering why they are taking this much money for it

Minimum 5 times current was not there. Only two varities of food iin breakfast and even bill of 8000 rupees.

Worst experience ever. Hopeless service. Dirty rooms. Arrogant employees. Extremely overpriced- food as well as rooms. Tv, water heater nothing works properly. No current most of the times Their generator doesn't work properly. Most hopeless resort I have ever been to. Kindly don't book rooms here if you want to have a good stay. The view is the only good thing. But the resort is located quite far from all the places so not worth it at all.
