Eastern Gate - A Bergamont Hotel - Port Blair

We stayed at Eastern gate for just 1 night. We had a morning flight and the hotel's proximity to the airport is very good. It is on the main road and you may find a lot of shops nearby for basic essential needs. There is also a coffee shop nearby and souvenir shops at some distance. The rooms are nice and clean and have sufficient space. The bed is comfortable and washrooms are clean. They do have a swimming pool and spa service although we did not use. They have a nice and cozy restaurant and quality of food is good and reasonably priced. They do provide complimentary airport drop if it is mentioned in your booking voucher. They can also plan your Andaman trip and provide the necessary information regarding sights to visit. They have few souvenirs if you want to purchase.The staff is very polite and helpful. We found the room service very slow. But overall, we had a good stay and would recommend this hotel for a stay in Port blair as it is centrally located to all tourist spots and has a moderate price.

The hotel is just in front of the Airport . Room are divided into categories of basic and luxury. Staff members at restaurant and reception are very well spoken and courteous. There is a swimming pool at the hotel. Manager is also very polite and cooperating.

Nice hotel to stay. all staff are very good,plus point near to airport.food is completely good ,had a pleasant stay............specially thanks to front desk 2 girls renuka and Megha would visit again and recommend to all my friends and family thankyou everyone at eastern gate for such a wonderful experience........

Great hospitality. Hotel arranged a cab within 30mins for sight seeing. Food was tasty especially loved the ghee rice and dal tadka. Location was near airport. The swimming pool was clean and well maintained. Value for money.

Hotel is good as advertized. Next to the airport, 5 mins drive. Clean and well maintained. Sujoy helped with early checkin as we had early morning flight arrival. Food is okay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was exceptional and very cooperative, making sure all my needs were met. A special mention goes to Mr. Somnath and his team at the restaurant - they were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Overall, the service and hospitality were outstanding. Highly recommended!"

The hotel is walking distance from airport. Food was great. Room service was great. Reception gave early check in on request. Beds and sheets were good and clean. We stayed for one night. Overall comfortable stay and can be considered for short stay
