Zostel Leh

Fantastic value accommodation with a fun atmosphere. Our room's balcony offered a fantastic view of the mountains behind Leh. The kitchen provides great food if you find yourself unwilling to venture outside into the cold. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, as were the other guests.

The stay is good at the mentioned price. Staff, food everything is good. Only thing that can be improved is the location mention since it's difficult to find with maps.

We recently went to Ladakh and due to sudden snowfall we had to book zostel and it was one of the worst experiences ever I was a big fan of zostel chains but after this experience i am not sure if I will ever opt for Zostel When we reached the location first of all it was hard to locate since the original name of that hostel is 'Shaheen hostel' We booked a private room and as per the policy we should have gotten a room heater, electric blanket and an electric kettle but when we asked at the reception about the availability of these things they said that previous guests broke the heater wo we dont give it anymore. I mean what kind of a reply is that After showing them the policies etc they finally agreed to give us a heater and that's it ! Later, there was no water in the morning and when we again had to call them twice and after about an hour the issue was fixed Throughout Ladakh, our homestay hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and safe (even in the remotest of places) but Zostel just scammed us with the brand name When I complained about this all they had to say was 'we regret the inconvenience' Please ask them about the available facilities before you book their rooms especially during bad weather

I had an amazing stay at Zostel Leh! The location is perfect, offering beautiful views and a great vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure that every guest felt at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the delicious vegetarian food--they offer a great variety, and everything was fresh and flavorful. Whether you're here for adventure or just to relax, Zostel Leh is the ideal place to stay. Highly recommended!

I had one of the best experiences at Zostel Leh. It's a very social place where you won't feel isolated. The common area is lively and perfect for bonding with fellow travelers over food. While the food itself isn't the highlight, I did enjoy the Ginger Lemon Honey Tea. However, this isn't a problem since the Leh market is within walking distance. If you're a vegetarian, I highly recommend trying the food at a restaurant called Chai Shai. The staff and service were exceptional--among the best I've encountered across all the Zostels I've visited. Ankur, Anshu, and Vishal were like brothers, making my stay incredibly comfortable. I'll definitely return in winter, this time with better winter wear, as the temperatures drop to freezing levels!

i stay in leh zostel at Jan 2025 winter and is pefect for traveller's . food is awesome ... rooms are awesome ... service is awesome .... Staff behaviour is very friendly which is very important one thing i like most here is husky -LYKA you will fall in love with LYKA , no doubt fully satisfied , highly recommended and must visit

Overall, the experience was amazing, and I felt very comfortable with the people and the stay. I truly had a great time and would love to visit the same place again.
