Absolutely the Worst Experience "Nightmare Stay - Misleading Information and Fraudulent Practices at Sea Bird Resort & Restaurant, Tajpur" My family (myself, wife, 4-year-old daughter, and mother) had the misfortune of staying at Sea Bird Resort & Restaurant in Tajpur from April 12th to April 15th, 2025, and it was unequivocally the worst accommodation experience of our lives. This resort is a far cry from what is presented online and through direct communication with the owner, who I believe engages in fraudulent practices. I have pictures to support all the claims made in this review. If I could give a negative star rating, I absolutely would. We were charged an exorbitant almost 1800 per night per room, a price that locals confirmed is significantly inflated (the actual value being closer to 600). The rooms themselves were shockingly small, dirty, and in a state of disrepair. We encountered broken and filthy furniture, stinking and unclean beds, and a cockroach infestation. The bathrooms were disgustingly dirty with a broken commode and no hot water. The owner falsely claimed the resort was a mere 1-1.5 minutes from the sea beach; in reality, it was considerably further. The food served was inedible, of extremely poor quality, and yet outrageously overpriced. The air conditioning in our room, while working, had no remote control, and no blankets were provided on the first night, causing my 4-year-old daughter to be unable to sleep. On the second day, we were given two blankets, but both were foul-smelling, and one was infested with cockroaches, which my mother unfortunately used. The televisions in both rooms were broken and unusable. Adding insult to injury, the resort charged GST on lodging and food but failed to provide a legitimate GST bill. The person who identified himself as the manager upon our arrival later turned out to be the owner, name may be Subhadeep Gayen, who has since stopped answering my phone calls. Basic amenities were severely lacking - no hot water, infrequent and reluctant room cleaning, and no mosquito repellent (which I had to purchase myself). It is clear that the priority of this establishment is to deceive and overcharge guests. Our family vacation was completely ruined by the appalling conditions and dishonest practices at Sea Bird Resort & Restaurant. I strongly urge anyone considering a stay in Tajpur to avoid this resort at all costs. This is not a legitimate business, but rather a place that seems designed to loot unsuspecting tourists.

The worst service I've ever experienced in my life. Room is very very cheap and pathetic, as well as food quality and quantity. But no doubt about their plunderage skill, it is a warning from my/our side, if you are choosing this hotel you will experience the ultimate disaster.

Fraud service...manager behavior is very cheap ...dont stay here ...worst service and behavior...

If you want to go there go in winter not in summer because electricity supply system is pathetic... foods were good and homely but prices were too high.. manager asks high prices without asking the guests. Manager subhadeep We had foods for last day from outside for the same reason..

Worst experience. They forced us to pay GST which is not applicable. As per gst rules gst is not applicable under the hotel room rs 1000. But the proprietor has denied.

Don't Go There They have not sufficient electricity for AC, You will book and pay for AC rooms and end up with wall fan. Request all the visitors who are going to book this place to get some relaxation after your hectic schedule, please don't book this place. From my personal experience we have booked an AC room at this place in summer day's but thy are not in working condition When we complaint about the issue they only said they have switched on their AC, if the AC doesn't works they are not responsible for that and we have to give the full AC room charges. However after lots of discussion their owner agreed to reduce some amount. My recommendation please don't book this place if you don't want to spoil your vacation.

I have visited tajpur many times but this was the worst experience I got with this hotel. I have booked 3 non AC rooms for 27th August. the hotel is in a very remote area. While talking on the phone with mr subhadip gayen who was the manager and the owner as well. He didn't mention about any food mandatory thing. When we arrived at the hotel he said we have to take the lunch and dinner it's mandatory. We refused to take lunch. But we ordered dinner for 6. The price were sky high and the food was low quality. There was no menu so he can loot customer by making any fooding price he wants. BEAWAR DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT TO GET A GOOD VACATION. When I ask him that "are you the owner?" Mr gayen straightly lying to my face. Pros- rooms are avarage Cons- area, food, behaviour
