Larica Inn Sundarban - Best Budget Hotel in Sundarban (Near Forest)

Fantastic Stay at Larcia Inn Sundarban! We had an incredible experience at Larcia Inn Sundarban! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was absolutely the best. every meal was delicious, fresh and beautifully prepared. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. One of the biggest highlights for us was how pet-friendly the inn is. We traveled with our four dogs, and the staff was amazing with them, making sure they were comfortable and well taken care of. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The simplicity of the Bengali cuisine they serve is unmatched. Every meal felt like a home-cooked experience, with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. It's evident that the staff takes pride in maintaining the traditional essence of Bengali hospitality. What truly sets Larica Inn apart is the peacefulness of the property. It's an oasis of calm, where you can relax, read a book, or simply take in the beauty of nature around you. The staff is warm and attentive, ensuring that your stay is comfortable and memorable. If you're planning a trip to Sundarban and value tranquility, good food, and a stunning riverside location, Larica Inn is the perfect place to stay. I can't wait to return!

Serious security issue. They do not take any action if ladies are harassed or face eve teasing by other guests. We went there with our group and faced tremendous harassment by another group. On complaining to the resort authority, they simply did nothing and were only concerned about their payment. They didn't even show us the CCTV footage and were completely reluctant about the issue. Then we figured out that their CCTV cameras were not working. I would recommend not to avail this resort at all

Extremely unsafe and mismanaged resort. During our stay, we faced severe security issues, including eve-teasing and an intruder entering our room. The hotel management was completely indifferent, offering apologies but taking no action. Drunken, unruly guests were allowed to behave inappropriately, making it unsafe for families and women. If you value safety and decency, avoid this place at all costs. I would have given lesser than 1 star if that was possible.

For a non Bengali...it is a nightmare. No other language including Hindi is understood. We had 3 rooms and each room had some issue or the other. A wardrobe door came out in one, no hot water in the bathroom, bathroom amenities non-existent. We had 1 tiny soap, 1 towel, 1 mini shampoo sachet, 1 dental kit for a 3 people occupied room. Additional towel came after multiple requests, and walking up to reception, since the intercom did not work. All this despite the resort demanding a premium on the rate due to "demand". Thankfully, we did not use their restaurant or food options. Being close to Sajnekhali entrance was the only bright point. Apparently, people prefer extremely soft matteresses, hence not commenting on the same. Would not recommend this place, even if it was the only option.

Infact when we asked for CCTV footage we got to know that cameras are not working, they were only for show. Drunk, misbehaving guests were allowed to create a hostile environment, and the management did nothing despite multiple complaints. No security, no accountability--avoid this place completely
