OYO 16972 Diamond Skylark

Couldn't stop giving a bad review. Are they so poor? They even charge you for using their pool and for the dress code too. Their behaviour is so bad and they don't know how to talk with their clients. Can't believe that this hotel is listed in OYO.

Rooms were good only if you go for Premium one, but no good washroom. Outside food not allowed and the food was too costly. Don't expect Zomato services.

Most unwilling place to stay . Even they are break their commitments. Showing different rooms and given another dirty room . No towels, no sanitary. No body to look after the guest . I will suggest not to stay their .

We have had a two days leisure travel to diamond harbour and stayed at oyo skylark which we are now confused that should we call it a hotel, a guest house, a lodge or something else. One of the most terrible experience one can ever witness. When we entered the hotel, we were greeted with torn condom packets near the reception front door. After we check in to the room. The rooms were absolutely ill maintained. Their so called suite rooms has a wooden flooring which has become home for pests and crawling insects. The room has no lights nor does the windows have curtains. To add to the woes every door had atleast 2 to 3 holes in it which even includes the washroom. The most wonderful thing was that every fittings in their washroom was broken and dirty to an extend that human beings shouldn't use it. To add up the washrooms have no water supply. The washroom window is heaped with atleast a small mountain of used condoms. The room was full with torn condom packets. We couldn't take bath for two days as there was no water available. The common area maintenance was even more award winning. The common areas are full of empty liquor bottles and filth everywhere. Kindly dare not look at the sofas in the common areas all of those are pestified. The so called hotel also claims to have a terrace garden and a swimming pool. The terrace garden is nothing but a low grade liquor bar which hosts impolite localities and the swimming pool isn't functional. Plus the hotel has issues with the licenses and permissions as confirmed by localities in the area. Food is heavily priced. The claim to have an in-house kitchen, however they serve food to its guests from the opposite DEBUR HINDU HOTEL. Overall experience was 0 out of 5, however google doesn't allow us the rate below 1. Also to mention most of the google reviews have been written by the hotel staff. We would like to mention a review which writes " international quality lodge" The so called Mr Halder is a staff of the hotel and he came to take our food order the second day of our stay. The hotel is unsafe, dirty and unliveable. Think 1000 times or even more before booking. Never book if you are with a female partner.

They denied our stay. Cause OYO has not been paying them since a while. It's not the first hotel I have come across like this. OYO you need to up your game. Seriously! You going down in no matter of time.

Room was fine. But bathroom was full of dirty from outside. Full of dirt and used C was there. Food is not up to mark. Try to upgrade the property.

Most worst hotel in diamond harbour.....hoyel rooms are Used for illegal purposees....I mean it's kind a hourly hotel... Behaviour is very bad ...Room quality is poorest of poor.....Don't book the hotel .... Otherwise it will be your worst experience
