The Vegabound Inn

Been staying here for 7 years wherever I visit siliguri but this year they shot up prices to 10k per night, not at all worth itthe only reason I preferred this place is because it out of city, you won't get warm water, washroom are not properly clean, toilet paper roll is never enough, and breakfast is sourced from outside and oh not upto the mark is least I can say.

Great people Indian girl there is pretty hot staff friendly

We have checked in at 10:30 PM on March 21. Room were good and quite spacious. The only horrible thing was morning breakfast. They took my order at 8:20 AM and promise to deliver within 30 mins. Till 9.20AM I have not received any response. As I had meeting i have left hotel without breakfast. Now I have to do meeting till afternoon empty stomach. Courteous staff, superb rooms, good food. Overall an experience worth remembering. We arrived late at night the hotel manager was very helpful, he also gave me a call asking if I want any dinner served once I reach hotel, as I was reaching by Shatabdi Express at 10.30 p.m. The bathroom, rooms are very well maintained it was worth the price we paid. We would like to go back to this hotel again. The hotel is located on 6th floor of the Orbit Mall which is currently getting renovated so the approach is a bit shabby but overall its a superb stay.

I stayed at room no 102. The rooms were neat and tidy, bathroom too was clean. We had our meals outside so I won't comment on that service. Main advantage is its location as it is located within the Vega mall. The only problem I faced was the constant humming of the central air conditioner which I think is located in the floor just above the rooms. The humming noise can be quite a nuisance but it stops after 11pm when the stores inside the mall are closed.

Staff is nice If your luggage is heavy, you can pay fee to Staff who can help it. no hairdryer If no hot water to take shower,you can ask staff,they will open to you 1. Rooms are average. The house keeping takes long time to attend to the requests. The bathroom was tap was broken, but the staffs did not bother to repair the same, even after several requests. However the staffs were courteous ....

The location of the hotel is directly above the Orbit mall, which is a bonus. Though the rooms are all spread across one floor, the place is quite huge and you won't feel too cramped. Rooms are decent, clean and well maintained. Service could have been much better though.
