Best pocket friendly hotel in my opinion everything is perfect

I recently stayed at Hotel Sovraj in Siliguri and it was not a pleasant experience. Firstly, the location is terrible as it's situated in a congested area which makes it difficult to navigate through the traffic. The rooms are just okay, nothing special and to top it off, there is no lift so you have to climb the stairs which can be exhausting after a long day of exploring the city. The staff's behavior was extremely rude and unwelcoming. They did not greet us with a smile or make any effort to make us feel comfortable. It felt like they were doing us a favor by letting us stay at their hotel. Parking a car was a nightmare as there was limited space available and we had to maneuver our way through other parked cars. It was a hefty task and not worth the hassle. Overall, I would not recommend Hotel Sovraj to anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy place to stay in Siliguri. It's not worth the money and the experience left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.

The hotel is not up to mark Location is fine mean you can get transport easily but Rooms aren't tidy or clean . Even myself I found bedbugs on the bed which shows the cleanliness of the hotel .

Suitable only for big group tour or solo male bachelor who want best budget hotel. As this is a low cost standard hotel, for couple or single women I would recommend only minimum 3 star category hotel in any central position near police station.

I was checked in today 10/10/20 at around 17: 00h. The room was upto standard and staffs were friendly but the room #103 television was not working and we have requested to the hotel staff for the same in which we are crazy for IPL. Later staff he came and simply replied that all hotel rooms television are not working due to technical problems(Dish problem). This time I don't feel wows

very rude owner at reception. Doesn't have the manner to talk. Please dont visit. And they charge extra
