Viceroy Beach and Spa Resort Mandarmani

Horrible experience from the moment we checked in. The manager, on his own, informed us that he was upgrading us to the highest category room, but what we got was a room that was literally torn down, dirty, with filth on the walls, sketch marks on the couches, and worn-out furniture. The AC didn't work in my mother's room, and after 4.5 hours of traveling, she couldn't even rest. The engineer took forever to fix it, and the manager was completely unhelpful, displaying a lackadaisical attitude when we mentioned waiting for nearly one and a half hours in the scorching heat of peak summer.||We requested a room change multiple times, but the front desk staff seemed unbothered. When we finally got a new room, it lacked a refrigerator and was a lower category than what we had booked. They eventually moved us to the room I had originally booked, but the experience was already ruined. What surprised me was that they lied to us about the upgrade and gave us the most run-down room.||The food orders were a disaster. The menu was fancy and elaborate, but the staff taking orders seemed clueless about the dishes. We ordered a basic starter, and it took one and a half hours to reach our room despite repeated reminders. Clearly, they had no idea what they were doing.||The staff overall seemed unhappy and untrained. The vibe of the hotel was pathetic. To make matters worse, the hotel seemed shady, with couples checking in at odd hours of the night, making it feel unsafe for families.||When we decided to cut our stay short due to the unbearable experience, the manager didn't even bother to apologize or show any concern. We ended up booking another hotel in Mandarmani, despite losing out on non-refundable charges for two rooms. My advice to travelers: think twice before booking this hotel. The images on booking platforms are misleading, and the experience isn't worth it. This hotel isn't family-friendly and definitely isn't recommended.

I recently stayed at Viceroy Beach and spa resort in Mandarmani, and it was a wonderful escape from the city chaos. The resort was near the beach. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had a peaceful vibe. The staff were polite, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The food was fresh and tasty, especially the seafood options. The pool area was also a great spot to relax when we weren't at the beach. One of the best parts was how close the resort was to the sea--literally a few steps away. It made our beach walks and sunset views all the more special. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Mandarmani has its own charm, and this resort made the experience even better.

Awesome foods and fantastic ambiance with a warm reception. It was a nice experience. We will definitely suggest to all of our relatives and friends. We will definitely want to stay again here in our next trip. Housekeeping of entire hotel is incredible. Keep doing the great job.

Hotel stay was very pleasant. Everything was good. Cooling of rooms are very good . Food is also good. We got extremely good service Mr.Surojit , Restuarant Manager. He is very kind and polite. Overall wonderful stay . Pool side is also good . Kids had enjoyed

I recently visited this hotel from my office for a corporate meet . Let me review how they handle their client . They handed over us the key to check in without cleaning the room and washroom . After doing check in at 12:45 we have to wait for another 30 mins to get our room . Second we had a lunch at 2:30 pm , to our surprise that they have not prepared sufficient meal . Just after few of our colleagues has taken their plates while other were in queue , the paneer sabji got over and people like us who are vegetarian had to wait for another 25 mins to get it supplied as the hotel support staff said they are preparing it . Post that came the tea time where they served us the tea /coffee in paper cups as if we are having it at a roadside stall and not in hotel . Then came the party night , looking at the service exp we had since afternoon we had not expected much . But then there was surprise also . They had kept 3 real fruit juice bottle one orange another cranberry and another apple I guess . When I went then for orange juice they said it is over . How think of their hospitality they don't have sufficient stock to feed the crowd while the requirement were well known to them . Now comes the worst part , while checking out one glass broke in my room for which they charged me 150 rs however the quality was not even of Rs. 10 but I paid as per hotel policy but I was not given the receipts . They said they cannot issue receipt for this as this is not in their policy on my insistence for it they said they will refund the money but till now they have not done it . They are one of the worst in hospitality, basic hygiene and policies . My strict no to visitors as their rooms and washrooms are also not well managed , all full of rust , and broken windows .. Very bad hotel and experience.

Stay was good. Mr. Surajit from the restaurant was very helpful. Room was spacious. Location is good. Just near the beach. Big spacious lawn for kids to play. Swimming pool was nice. Food was nice but bit on the expensive side. Overall good..

We had lunch with my family and friends on 19th April,2025. Food was very very delicious (we met the chef also to greet him) and the behavior, environment of the restaurant was outstanding. Must try Prawn malaikari, Hilsha sorshe, Bhetki, Pomfret items. Loved to visit again again.
