GITANJALI HOTEL

One of the worst hotel that one can experience here. Room conditions are extremely poor. Beds are not clean, we asked them to change the bedsheet. Bathroom was stinking badly. There is no lock in the bathroom door. We changed to another room but that room was almost similar to that. Everywhere spiderweb which we again asked to clean. . The room no. 121 where we stayed has no TV, no Phone, No Chair, No hanger, No Mosquito repellent,No kattle , No soap and shampoo, even bin bag was also missing and we asked few of the basic things they said sorry we don't have Even few charging points where also not working. In the "cossy" bathroom there is no exhaust fan there is small window which is covered by newspaper. The Hotel is located near railway track where you get voice of train paasing by during your sleep hours. Now come to the food. They served us leftover rice daal after re heating it not the fresh rice. Even for warm water we went to kitchen and asked they are so helpless that my husband has to lit the gas and get the warm water. If you asked for tissue paper they will politely say that " mam we have only one tissue paper" though they are keeping tissue paper in the reception desk. They don't have any room service facility. Very helpless management. BUT they are CHARGING Rs 1550, and they take all the payment at the time of entry. Pls make sure that you should check the room before taking the room. They are big cheaters. People come over here for alcohol drinking not for stay. It's just a bad environment lodge kind of place.

Gitanjali Hotel is located near Camellia resort, prantik, Shantiniketan, Bolpur. Food menu is great for Bengali cuisine, in good quantity and reasonable price . Hospitality can be improved . Overall good experience for lunch .

Very bad hotel. Staffs behavior was very bad. Hotel rooms are smelling . Flys are all time at room. Foods are overpriced and not so testy. Dont visit this hotel. They are only for cullect money.

This properly is located just beside the kopai river. Location is goood but it's too far. Rooms are too bad. Bed in the rooms is just horrible. Rooms are not clean . Only the food quality is good . Staff's behavior is good. It's not at all good to stay. We stay at 112 no. Room . Very bad room. Wash room was not cleaned . Bed was too hard . Have a good space for car. Situated just beside Kopai Bridge. Have car parking facilities. Stayed here for one day on 2nd Jan 2020. There is no precautions from COVID. There were no temperature checking and none of the staffs were wearing masks even while cooking and serving. Rooms were not that much clean and were not sanitised. Only good thing was the food quality and quantity.

The hotel is just over the kopai river surrounded by the natural Beauty of greenery. Awesome location for people like me who loves to stay in the lap of nature.

A lovely hotel, quiet, serene yet not far from Sonajhuri. Rooms are adequate. The staff is friendly and well behaved. Food is good. Can do bonfire on the evenings. Great place for a weekend holiday .
