This review is only for restaurants. Three types of sitting arrangements are available. 1 > Open air, 2> Non-Airconditioned , 3> Airconditioned. Service was so good, but the non-veg food tastes was not so good. Only one type of gravy for mutton, fish and egg dish. Only Veg thali was good. Hotel review: This is a 5star Hotel/Resort. A swimming pool, wooden structural rooms and many more luxurious types of rooms are also available. Huge Parking space is also available inside the resort area. Feel free to go if you are having only for Breakfast, Lunch,Dinner,Tea,Coffee etc.

Had the best weekend trip. Worth every penny that they charge. The staff are polite and helpful and everyone has walkie-talkies to communicate with each other which caught my attention because that's actually very clever. The service is exceptionally good. Will definitely visit again.

One of the best resorts to stay amidst Shonajhuri Haat. The newly built swimming pool facing Super deluxe Rooms are top notch with all moder facilities and we were allotted Room No 202. Washroom had all the modern facilities, however a handwash at the basin counter could have been a complete deal as handwash was missing. Rooms were very big and there was no problem at all regarding cleanliness. Food and Room service was absolutely upto the mark, however the contact Numbera of restaurant and reception can be labelled out on the room intercom. A general a valuable feedback which I wanted to share which was quite noticeable is that the food is cooked away from the serving space ( kitchen near the pool area) and was carried by hotel staff towards the kitchen with no proper cover over the utensils. This needs to be really looked upon in terms of the hygiene being maintained when the food is carried from the kitchen to the serving area. Overall had a fantastic experience as I had booked for 2 nights and will highly recommend all to book and stay in the property. Service was top-notch with no complaints at all and to top it all Sonajhuri haat was just outside the property. Would like visit again and hopefully management will take care of the feedback given.

Location is great. Their new accomodation with pool view rooms are fantastic, all amenities are perfect. The pool is also well maintained. Landscape is also soothing to eyes. Restaurant service during lunch hours is little slow considering the amount of guests they have to handle. But it would be great if they provide resort guests little priority or cater with separate dining area. Dinner and snacks can be delivered at room, very aptly priced and quality is also good.

Absolutely liked everything about this hotel. From delicious dining options to cozy rooms with stunning views, everything exceeded my expectations.The secure and safe environment of this hotel will always have my heart. The cultural experience left us with many stories and great memories. The hotel facilities are exceptional. The staff are also accommodating and friendly. Food was very delicious (breakfast - dinner).The hotel had a relaxing atmosphere with a serene pool area. Highly recommended

We visited Ram Shyam Village Resort in Bolpur as two families and were told that no regular rooms were available due to extreme weekend rush. We were offered a "luxury" tent instead, which turned out to be a huge mistake. The room was not properly cleaned, and the AC barely worked by morning the tent became a hot pot infested with insects-- but we ignored it since we had no other option. The swimming pool was in a terrible state, poorly maintained with insects floating in it. The food was the worst part of the experience. We ordered two plates of mutton kosha (4 pieces each, totaling 8), and all we received were bone pieces -- not a single proper chunk of meat. (Photo attached for proof.) If I could, I'd give this place a 0. The only saving grace is its prime location in Sonajhuri, which is what earns it a single star. Otherwise, this resort is a complete letdown. Strongly suggest avoiding it. Update based on RSVR reply: well i guess no one gives order for meat bones . How one can understand that all the pcs were just bones without taking out the individual plate . We even told your team member and their answer was that may be by mistake however they will surely serve us better next time even knowing that next day was our check out and no way we are going to have mutton in breakfast . Anyways we are not going and our review stands the same 1 star

This is my 3rd stay at Ram Shyam. The new wing is good. But food quality became horrible specially non veg Bengali food. Restaurant service also bad.Due to lack of resources, reception service,billing process, there was huge delay. Food charge is too high in comparisons to quantity and quality. Except 'Payesh' no sweet dish available. This time allover experience is poor.
