Hotel The City Nest

I recently stayed at Hotel City Nest, and while the room was decent, the service was absolutely disappointing. I needed a single-page printout urgently and requested it from the reception. The elderly person at the desk made me wait for 10 minutes, only to say he needed another 20 minutes for a simple printout. I was new to the place and running late for a meeting, but he showed no urgency or willingness to help. To make matters worse, the geyser in my room wasn't working. When I reported it, he said he would check, but there was no follow-up or response after that. Overall, a frustrating experience--good rooms, but the worst service. Definitely not recommending if you expect even basic hospitality.

Just 50-60m walking distance from the junction, it's conveniently located. All the staffs were welcoming and friendly, be it receptionist to manager to waiter. The rooms were clean, spotless. Exceptional service had been provided. Had a great stay here. Food is amazing. All arrangements were made by the staff. Would definitely recommend this place. Driver Ajay da was too good. Had been at their another property saffron valley for lunch while on my way back from ayodhya hill. Had an amazing experience...

Beyond expectation experience, foreign standard stairs around lift with top to bottom music system passage, well behaved and timing room service with kaaNsaar thaalaa baattite pribeshit lunch in attached lime & spice restaurant. Near Purulia Station, most happy and satisfied to stay here and mark the hotel above full marks. I will come and stay here again and again in future and suggest to all to have an experience here.

This is an excellent hotel in 300 mitter walking distance from Purulia Junction with all facilities like lift, car parking, RO water, TV, AC, generator back up, WiFi etc. Room and bathroom was neatly cleaned. They have a inhouse restraunt Lemon & Spice. The food is great in taste and delicious at an very affordable price with free room service. The manager Mr Amit was very cordial and helpful and staff was evenly helpful. They helped to get vehicle for our sightseeing.

The Room is small, compact with basic amenities. Service was satisfactory. The best thing is the location, just walking 5 to 7 minutes and reach Purulia Station. The attached restaurant was decent in terms of Pricing and food taste. This is a hotel of Saffron Hotel chain in Ayodhya hill top.

Clean room and linen. Very close to Purulia Rly station. Quick response to any call for help. Very good food. I liked the Thali meal served in traditional "kansa" utensils. I would also like to mention that I couldn't send advance for booking the room as I was in a remote place without proper mobile network. Management was kind enough to send a confirmed reservation slip without any advance.

Very near to the Purulia station. Staffs are well behaved and helpful. Front desk is cordial and helped us with car rental. We had our dinner at their restaurant. The food was good and prices were reasonable.
