Hotel Sankat Mochan - Best Hotel in Purulia

The room was ok we booked 1 large room for 5 people the bed was for 4 people only (u will not get for 5 anywhere) It costs us 1600 per night ( non AC ) little pricey checkout was at 8 am , it was little shock to us as usually it should be around 11 am . The room was clean , bathroom was ok . People here are good . No wifi signal available in the room , You have to come to registration desk to use it , and the speed is slower than my phone 4g internet. So wifi is of no use . They will say unlimited wifi don't fall for it . Tv doesn't work. But the worst thing is the food, do not every eat here they make the worst food I have ever tasted in my life , we order chicken gravy with rice 130 per plate , my college hostel food was 1000 times better than that .

This room is a horrible experience for me, They don't even know how to talk to customers, hotel staff are drinking alcohol in the room , you have to call them then they will come to assist you.. The room is so dirty and there is no charging point near the bed... The door lock is not working and you have to try 100 times to open and close, or you can call hotel staff if they are available.. It's feels like someone locked you in a room, Bed and pillow is so much dirty.. Actually you will sleep better in the railway station in my suggestion..

Location and service is very nice. Very family friendly, they also allow pets which is also nice. The staffs are really nice. They provide proper guide for tourism. Really nice. Highly recommended.

The worst experience, The hotel staffs are not co-ordinating and very bad in manner. If anyone planning with your family do not go there. People live here have no manner to talk even behave. Food is worst, if you are statying here manage the food from outside. Bathroom is not clean.

Service is poor... No mosquito oil was provided in any of two rooms of us... Also, no housekeeping service was provided during our 2 night & 3 days stay... Outside food is not allowed also...Parking is available on road!!
