Resort Gorumara Riverside

I have been an avid traveler over the years and while travelling to myriad locations, I have stayed in many budget as well as exquisite suites in the past in many picturesque locations around the world but Gorumara Riverside Resort has truly captivated my mind and attemperated my desires of staying with utmost comfort & ease at probably one of the most sort after resorts in Gorumara. Not to forget the exquisite and memorable hospitality doled out to me and my family by the Manager, Mr. Goutam Sen and his team who have acted as wonderful hosts and have kept every odd request of every guest staying in the resort of exotic food stuff, be it country chicken or Boroli Fish curry. He has delivered every sumptuous delicacy promptly and nicely as per each guest's individual desire without any fuss or showing any perceptive discomfort. Behaviour of each staff in the resort was truly good and memorable indeed. The stay would remain in my mind & heart for a long time and would again consider visiting the same location in the near future.

Speechless in one word. Specially I want to give a big thanks to respected Goutam Sen, I never met this kind of man, whatever small thing if required, he was arranged before informed even he ignored his personal invitation for us and providing facility. And also including Food, I never feel that, I was in outside. Cook's behavior and his patience of cooking is outstanding.

The resort is an ideal place for vacation. This is mainly because of the warm behavior of the staff, the sumptuous meals that they serve, the hygiene and cleanliness that they maintain in the rooms, and the beautiful ambience of their campus. We made some really loving memories while staying at this place.

Was soo excited but had a very bad experience for the first time in life. Visited many resorts hotles Airbnb but the worst was here! The manager we already had talked about barbeque but he said we didn't and the other guy there was showing like we are nothing never gonna visit here again the food was not upto mark everything was very costly according to the place ! Only 1 service man was very nice and polite but none other was nice we couldn't even stay there near bonfire after 12pm ! Our new year got wasted!

Very good experience staying at this resort. We were a couple traveling from Jalpaiguri to Lataguri. The hotel rooms were very cozy and the staff were really hospitable. The food was also very good. They accomodated all our requests too. We were on a bike so transport was not an issue. But since the resort is inside the Lataguri village, people without private transport might face issues reaching the hotel at odd hours. But due to the location, the area is very serene and is just beside the river. All in all, a 5 star experience and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Dooars.

Excellent Location Nice Food and Moreover the Staff Behavior is Too good. Ideal Place for Vacation

Located only 10 mins of walking distance away from the Gorumara Reserve forest and just by the banks of the serene river, it was a true weekend escape. The hospitality truly felt like a home away from home. Special thanks to the cordial supervision of Mr. Goutam Sen. The food was very tasty and to the palatte of food lovers. A must visit.
