Ctong Homestay & Orange Orchards

We stayed here for two nights, and it was by far the worst experience. The rooms were terrible; the food was okay. Generally, the owners make up with warmth. In this homestay, we never felt that. Instead, we thought the owner was trying to make as much money as possible by providing the least amount of everything.

Got the topmost rooms . Food was quite good but communication facilities with the owners are quite difficult. Wi-Fi facilities are not available till our rooms although it was there for rooms in lower area near the main reception. Rooms were fine but the washrooms need a net in ventilators or at least a cover. It's not quite comfortable for women to use it as the ventilator is really big and can be seen from outside if someone stands near it. Staff behavior was quite good but they need more facilities

Location is good, peaceful place. Rooms are also good as well. The resort has it's own orange garden which is another attraction for the tourists. But something wrong with the owners who are somehow making the overall service too poor to be able accumulate huge profit. The restaurant and food provided is poor and dirty.

Beautiful location of this homestay .. Rooms are big and quite comfortable..Even Gunjan sir the owner of this honestay was very welcoming and friendly..Food was also homely and good.. Must stay place at Sittong.. Accessible location beside the main road so no accessibility problems .

Beautiful place with beautiful people are running this homestay............. evening music party and food are excellent.......the whole family of Gunjan Rasaily are very affectionate with the guest. Homestay is surrounded by Orange tree and we can hear the sound of running water of Jogighat....... majestic

SERVICE IS VERY BAD. Dinner provided very late. Very oily. Breakfast was horrible, It's amount very few and dirty. 'The COOK' not always present in there. The COOK does not show 'interest' about your order. Think twice before booking. Although Location is good, VERY HOT TEMPARATURE(as compare to other hill area in Darjeeling). Peaceful place. Rooms are good and clean. wash room is also good. Restaurant are well decorated.

Location and ambiance is good with good view of surroundings, but very poor maintenance and service.window glass panes broken. Door locks not functioning. Room cleaning not done regularly. Management not responsive. Food quality is not also good.

Peaceful place to stay at the Sittong. Needs more improvement like you will not get electricity for whole day, Food quality is not good but you can cook your own food and and avoid last room. Hospitality of the owner was good.
