Sonajhuri Eco Resort

Offbeat location. Room and tents are clean and good. There are 3 large big tents and one single bed tent. 3 rooms. Hotel staff are good and helpful. Main problem is the owner who is not present at the resort. We booked 2 days in tent but we got for one day in tent and one day in room. Owner had overbooked and there was lot of quarrel with guests and staff. In spite of this, we had a nice stay, they organized bonfire and barbeque which was too good. Food package was of acceptable quality and quantity. At night you can hear hyenas and foxes howl. A morning walk in the nearby forest area was peaceful and pleasant. The place is offbeat, 14-15 km from hilltop main area and surrounded by forest. Only way to reach is by personal car or bike. There are no shops anywhere near so bring your own stuff.

Had an awesome experience at Sonajhuri Eco Resort, Mamudi. The rooms were well maintained with comfortable beds and well air conditioned. Service was outstanding and commendable. A Must visit resort for you and your family if you're planning to stay near Ajodhya Pahar.

We had a wonderful and very satisfying stay for 2 nights and 3 days during the Dol / Holi. We were 11 heads with couple of kids. The service from getting in to exit the resort has been exemplary. The arrangements for the Holi with colors, local spirit (Mahua), Santhal and Chau dance accompanied by lip smacking food has added to the delight. The behavior of the partner and his team is like your own family and always serving with a smile. We are planning again to visit during the winter. There is only ONE complaint (from my friend) that there is NO complaint !! Location is secluded and serene. Highly recommended!!

Excellent service. All staff are so humble and supportive. Nice Homely atmosphere. Fooding so good. Hygiene and cleanliness maintained in every aspect.

Sasta mai accha hai...1200 rupees per head with breakfast to dinner....Staff are very very helpful...

Visited Mamudi on 25th December, 2023. We stayed here. Beautiful place, nice, calm, very much close to nature. Great offbeat destination for a weekend trip. This is a new property but it's actually great. Staffs are nice, food quality is great, rooms are nice. It's a great experience there.
